It seems like rajkumar Gupta was hurried to make this movie as fast as possible.
This movie lost its pace. A different concept film. If the director has taken more time to write the story it would have been a great story. I will just say.. A half-hearted work

Standard Espionage Thriller

Arjun Kapoor and his team have intelligence that claims that terror bombings of Indian cities is being conducted out of Nepal. The central bureaucrats scoff. They say all the bad guys are in Pakistan and Iran. What are our heroes to do but pool their own money and go on an unsanctioned mission?
The credits at the beginning of this movie claim it is "based on a true situations." I take that to mean there were terror bombings in India at the time indicated, that they did capture them, and that the authorities clammed up about how they caught the bad guys, because all such missions violate some law. So the film makers did what film makers have done since Edison's crew was filming stories about the Russo-Japanese War in New Jersey. They reached into the current collection of cliches of thriller fiction and came up with this bog-standard collection of tropes.
Not that there aren't some nice bits here. I went into the theater wondering how they were going to fit in the musical numbers that seem to be in every modern Indian flick. There we are in the first scene, and it's set at a snack bar, where a musical group is performing. Then a bomb goes off, and suddenly whenever I heard the soundtrack picking up, I clenched my teeth. I wonder if that will last into the next Indian movie I see.
But other than that, it's a standard movie with no redeeming features except that while it doesn't do anything particularly wrong.... well, I always hope for more, and so should you.

The plot, inspired by true events, revolves around a four-day manhunt for a mysterious terrorist ("Ghost") by a covert Bihar police outfit in Nepal.
This is an important film because it tells the story of how vulnerable we, as a nation, were a decade ago. How a series of bomb blasts across various Indian cities.
But the film is designed in a way that makes us doubt the truth of these events.
Abdul Subhan Qureshi, the bomb-making terrorist allegedly responsible for serial blasts across India.
Maybe the problem is Arjun Kapoor, As Prabhat, the poker-faced team leader seems disinterested.
The movie does have a good story, but unfortunately, its full potential has not been mined.
The story eventually follows a single thread that doesn't help the movie hit the mark.

This film could have been so much better had they really invested great actors into the project. They took Arjun Kapoor who looks overweight and completely disinterested into the role and does not have any acting skills to boast of. He has survived on YRF projects initially but now people just do not like or root for him. You expect better from a director of No One Killed Jessica and Aamir. You missed the bus totally this time Mr Gupta and as for Kapoor, I am already worried about the losses Ashutosh Gowarikar shall face after the debacle of Panipat.
Surprisingly Arjun Kapoor's acting isn't the worst thing about this movie

If you thought GoT season 8 was rushed, definitely watch this movie to feel better about the show.
Also, what the hell were those stupid camera angles and switches every 2 seconds?
I doubt ISI actually hates India as much as it is perceived in this movie.
Watch it cos not everything in life needs Guns for thrills!

The movie is simple. It's slow paced. Sometimes it does give you thrills but it's not an action packed movie. So if you want guns, actions, heavy dialogues, SKIP it.
But if you really want to know what goes inside the hard work done by Intelligence Agencies, the risks they take, YOU SHOULD WATCH IT.
The movie shows how you enter a foreign country looking out for a suspect without any help in form of money, guns or political support. Till you find the culprit you are on your own. So if the thing gets done, Good job, but no recognition. So this is a big salute to all those people who do the dirty dangerous work behind the scene.
The cast is simple. They are portrayed from Bihar, and they speak like them so there's nothing fancy in the way they speak. Again very natural and nothing to create fake excitement and attention.
So Guys, the rating here (below 5) doesn't actually does justice to this movie and the reality. WATCH IT. Not every movie has to be about guns, actions, suspense, thrill!

Somewhat ridiculous, stupid in parts and immature direction at times... BUT despite all that, this flick is not too bad...a decent one time watch. The issue is Arjun Kapoor... he is faaat and a pretty bad actor and that is what visually tortures you in the movie. Acting is never a high point with any of the cast, as the plot misses many opportunities that could have made this movie into a edge- of- the- seats thriller . Interestingly, this is perhaps one of the rare Bollywood spy/special ops flicks that do not have a female character in it...
On another note, the film gives a good insight into the bumbling bureaucracy and intelligence establishment of those days, when our political establishment's 'tolerance' to serial blasts and anything that terrorists threw at us was very high!

This story is all about a man with his team execute a impermissible plan. The Movie loosely creates a thrill for minute but that didn't work at all. Arjun Kapoor tried something new and all debut theater artists did it nicely. Plot was slow but good, it is a lengthy story 123minutes Ah it is lengthy 100minutes was enough. I read some articles/reviews/tweets after movie but they only say the good parts and minor flaws but there is big flaw which is the length of the movie and slow plot.
Audience want is thrill atleast suspense but in this movie Sir Raj Kumar Gupta failed i was expecting even everyone expect a good movie from the director/writer just like his last hits "Raid and other some best work like Aamir, No one Kill Jessica etc." and if you can't serve the reality properly add some masala(comedy/drama/action) in it. Just because the movie is about manhunt without gun, I can't say anything but the movie is not that good, I watched it Just for the Unsung Heroes of the Country.
I've given five stars for unsung heroes and for the work of making this movie.
When we hear "the movie is inspired by true events/story, we get excited but don't be excited for this one. Just watch if you want to.

I cannot understand why people are giving nasty comments for this movie. I and my family have thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. It is a well acted, well directed film which keeps you interested all throughout. I also cannot understand the poor response to the theatrical release of the movie and also the poor IMDb ratings. I strongly feel that it should have got at least a 7 out of 10 rating. Do not miss watching it.

INDIA'S MOST WANTED REVIEW :
Surgical strike has became a trend since encultarative success of 'Uri : The Surgical Strike'. That film had everything to tell the story in commercial manner but here the case is different. Why? Because it is not direct Surgical Strike or an Attack, it is an estimated and unpredictable chase and capture mission. Although it is predictable for cine viewers who can clearly sense the coming events and like mentioned earlier that commercial package is missing too.
India's Most Wanted is an unbelievable story where 5 Unlikely heroes saves the billions and never gets the fame and credit for that. Five patriots from a small town team up to capture India's Most Wanted Terrorist and travels to Nepal without any official back-up. Can they manage to get him Or they fail? You get all the anwers in the film. Writing viz the film looks healthy but the Screenwriting seems outdated and melodramatic. As an Actor Arjun Kapoor finally gets a full-fledged acting role and does the Justice to his part by fair Margin than earlier ones. Supporting cast is impressive while Jeetendra Shashtri as 'Friend' steals the limelight. Amit Trivedi fails to give the needed musical support. Actually, the chase films which are more curved towards story-telling should not have mainstream music. Editing by Banerjee is pacy if you can exclude songs and unneeded portion. Cinematography and VFX Work is Good. Raj Kumar Gupta delivered a Fantastic film like Raid last year so the expectations level was higher this time and unfortunately he couldn't live upto them. When you have clear sense and focus on the film then you shouldn't be using the same old formula because the story is not regular, right? All What goes wrong has been sum up in one line, i guess.
In a nutshell, India's Most Wanted is much needed story for the Audience but the look out by the makers remains average. This script could have been told with better viewing experience, especially from the Director like Raj Kumar Gupta. Although he misses the main protocol, somehow he manages to keep something watchable in the narrative and saves the ship from the Crap stroke. The patriotic feeling and sympathy towards the untold and unknown heroes can be watched once.

Yusuf is #IndiasMostWanted terrorist, accused of direct involvement in over 10 separate bombings in India. Some intelligence officers go to nepal to nab him. This group comprises simple, middle class, nameless guys. They have no weapons, no emotional or financial backing. They have been successful in the past, but no one is aware of their existence. So how do they do it? Performances r decent. But the film isnt gripping. The indian govts apathy is well depicted. Rating 2.5/5.

2) Acting - I wish they would have removed Mr. Arjun Kapoor. He will NOT be missed in this industry. OR give him an Award for "Expressionless Actor" and ask him to retire.
3) Music was OK.

A fresh content with ground level realities, lead actor Arjun should have been replaced with more energetic actor like vicky kaushal, or some other. Good story line, few loop holes especially in second half, little hypothetical in the end. But overall one time watch.

Arjun Kapoor didn't do new in his acting. he did just normal acting as he can do. he has no diversity in his acting.So,if you are watching this movie for entertainment purpose , shouldn't go but if you are watching to know about little bit about catching incident of INDIA'S MOST WANTED , then you can watch it.

It is a bollywood movie without any heroine. They took a chance to make a thriller based on true story. But they failed to make an interesting spy movie. You only feel tense in last some moments; otherwise entire movie goes down in a dull way. This is a big failure of such thriller. And my wonder there is only a small fight scene at last. What a pity with such real action thriller story. Although it is based on real incident, but director and story writer could take liberty to keep movie entertaining. They should have learned from Hollywood makers! Arjun Kapoor has no expressions at all time and his body looks like not maintained. Rest are okay. Only thing you can enjoy is that the natural beauty of Nepal. Mountains, local markets roads will give you relief from dull story plot. Not much recommended.

Let us not look away from the fact that this film has characters that make you go back to 'Baby' but the characters look like they are from a very rural area and are not from any Intelligence Agency.
The screenplay has these unwanted and depressing funny-to-be scenes that aren't funny. The dialogues are very nosy and on the face. All but one character have UP - Bihari slang and for the 'let us give one morsel to the South Indians' character, we have one Malayalee speaking character. The scenes have cheaper comedy dialogues. There is a dialogue by the 'Malayalee' guy where he says - 'Mujhe toh yeh Kannada lag raha hai' (..and that's not when he hears someone speaking Kannada but when someone is speaking Hindi and he feels this person is from Karnataka which means the dialogue should have been '..mujhe lag raha hai yeh Kannadiga hai'). That's exactly what a North Indian would say. If the character was really a South Indian, the least he could have said - "..Kannadiga lag raha hai.". This dialogue reminded me of the simple yet touching film, "Karwaan" where a correction reply dialogue by Dulquer Salman to Mithila goes by, "Kannadiga Karnataka ke log hote hain. Mujhe itna toh pata hai..". It doesn't take a South Indian actor to say the right words there, it takes a knowledgeable writer to do so, which India's Most Wanted's most wanted should have been a simple knowledgeable writer. That's where the film falters (apart from the existence of 'Boney Kapoor ka launda'). Apart from Arjun Kapoor's character, all his team mates are a waste and are always clueless as if he brought along with him a bunch of struggling actors from a drama company.
The actors are depressing to watch. Arjun Kapoor needs to open a gym and start working out alone because I just can't digest this aloo-bonda running around in another country calling himself Indian Intelligence ('Kuch toh mehnat karo..').
On the whole, the film is boring and feels lengthy even when it is capped at 2 hours.
