Love Island’s 2023 winter series is well underway, with new bombshell contestants joining the villa to shake things up.
One week into the series, which is being filmed in South Africa and presented by Maya Jama, two new bombshells joined the line-up of islanders already in the villa.
However, rather than being total newcomers – or old faces, as happened when Adam Collard returned to the villa last year – both islanders had previously appeared on Love Island Australia.
One of the bombshells is Jessie Wynter, a personal trainer and influencer from Tasmania.
Here’s everything you need to know about the reality star…
When was Jessie on Love Island Australia?
Jessie appeared on series two of the Australian spin-off in 2019. She joined the villa on day one and placed fourth with Afl player Todd. They dated for three months after leaving the villa before eventually splitting.

U.K. digital channel BBC Three has acquired “Canada’s Drag Race.”
Twelve Canadian drag artists will compete for the title of ‘Canada’s First Drag Superstar’ in the 10 x 60′ show that has elements of the popular “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “Drag Race U.K.”
The three permanent judges include Brooke Lynn Hytes, an alumni of “Drag Race” season 11, model and Lgbqt+ activist Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, and supermodel Stacey McKenzie. A celebrity guest host will join them each week. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” judge, Michelle Visage, will appear as a guest judge.
BBC’s acquisition of the show continues the trend of U.K. broadcasters acquiring international versions of successful formats to air during the Covid-19 period. ITV recently picked up “Love Island Australia” to air in place of the U.K. summer edition, which was last month canceled for the year due to concerns around filming the show abroad amid the pandemic.

David Mott.
ITV Studios Australia MD David Mott is encouraged to see the Aussie networks are still looking to commission shows despite the slump in advertising revenues.
He praises the JobKeeper initiative, addresses the challenges of working remotely and expresses concern if the suspension of the local content quotas continues next year.
Q: The Voice premieres on Nine on May 24. Are safe distancing restrictions impacting the production?
A: We had already shot the Blinds and Battles in February and early March so these were unaffected. Of the remaining episodes we have applied the government’s Covid-19 protocols and our own ITV Studios protocols to ensure the safety and well being of all coaches, hosts, contestants and, equally important, our crew.
I could not be happier with the workarounds The Voice team have worked tirelessly on. Whilst the production of these episodes will clearly look a little different the team have...
