Apart from a casual affair with the traveling feed salesman Gerd, the life of Brandenburg farmer Jutta consists only of work - and her cow Gloria. Gloria is a magnificent cow, the most beautiful in all of Brandenburg. Now Jutta plans to become Miss Germany. For Jutta, Gloria is the linchpin of her little world, but for her brother Thomas, who comes to visit unexpectedly after their father's death, this devotion is extremely irritating. Granted, Gloria is a gem, but she's still just a cow. But he's not allowed to say something like that to Jutta. And when he then broaches the topic of inheritance claims, the air burns. The siblings are immediately in the middle of the biggest argument, almost as nice as before. But both sense that there is a new seriousness behind their dispute. Can Jutta continue her life as before and run the farm on her own? And what's really behind Thomas' sudden appearance? It's time for both of them to face some truths.
