What's in the Tacklebox?: An Interview with Jim Suthers (2018)
*** 1/2 (out of 4)
This twenty-three minute interview with Jim Suthers has the special effects creator discussing his career as well as his work on the 1986 film BLOOD HOOK. The first portion of the interview has Suthers calling himself a Monster Kid and from here he briefly talks about what work he did before BLOOD HOOK. From here we get into the special effects used in the film as well as how they were created. I must say that this here was a very good interview and especially due to the details that Suthers goes into as he talks about the effects in the film. He constantly has a good story being told and he also manages to tell us about one particular scene that almost got the film a X-rating. If you're a fan of the film then you'll certainly enjoy this detailed interview.
