The funniest dark comedy I have ever seen
Finally, I have caught up with the pace of season by season. After the disappointing sub-villains and monotonous drama of Season 1, we are now seeing Captain Gordon and the super-villains. I always like Robin Lord Taylor and this episode showed his true form and top-notch acting skills!
I find huge potential in the upcoming episodes. I just hope the carry the momentum of the finale season and hope no more filler-episodes, please!
WB wouldn't have had the required dialogue delivery had it not been for Robin Lord Taylor!

Great episode with a nostalgic feel and it works perfectly
This episode was filled with nostalgia in the story with the murder case and police work, it was almost a perfect episode but at the end an entertaining one with great character development for Harvey Bullock as he was the main focus and it was needed. Bruce Wayne's sequence in this episode was almost unnecessary, only building up to him becoming Batman but I felt it could have been done in a better way with a different locations and bad guys, something on the street for example but that might come? Mutant gang would be nice to see again.
I'm honestly so thankful for Fox giving the creators two extra episodes as The Ventriloquist and Scarface made an appearance of the character Mr. Penn, how have I not seen the similar looks, he's perfect for the role! It was one of the two highlights of the episode, spectacular acting performance, truly capturing the character. I once wrote that I didn't like the character development for Barbara and I still don't but I've thought about something and that is their son in the comics is a psycho so it kinda makes sense that she was insane in the show. Felt like that something I wanted to write in this review as I'm liking the character a lot in this season, finally feeling like a human being again.
