At about 1:05, Private Boston leads a screaming bayonet attack on a German standing in the machine gun nest. When he picks up his rifle to head off, there's no bayonet attached.
When Boston is speaking with Greg in the foxhole at their base, the former lights his cigarette and snaps shut his zippo lighter. He inhales from what is clearly an unlit cigarette. In the next scene it is burning.
When the five men are talking prior to commencing their mission, the injury which was on the left side of Boston's face is now matched by an identical one on the other side.
After the Lt dumps the box of bloody bandages onto the fire, in the next shot they are rearranged and some are atop the sticks erected to support the fire.
When the US team are pinned by machine gun fire at the Czech hedgehog (the steel anti-tank obstacles used on beaches such as Normandy), the machine gunners' bullets sound as if they're striking steel, but from close one can see that the structures are wood.
Two nurses tell Greg and Mike of nearby US division that is down to a couple hundred men. This is extremely unbelievable statistically. Of the ninety-one divisions formed by the U.S. Army in World War II, a division typically contained about 15,000 troops.
The base consists of only two tents, one seemingly a MASH tent. There are not nearly enough tents, vehicles, armaments, soldiers or other personnel for a base.
Most of the US and German soldiers are wearing incorrect - or no - insignia on their uniforms.
When the second of five US captives are executed by having his throat slashed from behind, his body rolls down the hill but there is no spray or gush of blood visible as he rolls or after his body has settled.
As the three surviving Americans near the outskirts of their base, for an unknown reason the lead soldier places his weapon on the ground, leaving himself unprotected and his fellow soldiers without cover.
Near the beginning, Boston carries a wounded, bloody solder on his back. When he puts the soldier down, Boston has no blood on his back.
As Greg picks up and opens the swastika flag from the tank, it is clearly in clean, immaculate condition, and could not be believed to have seen battle.
In the opening scene, only four Germans marching five US POWs through the woods but only one German has his weapon drawn on the captives.
Early on after the first US soldier is executed and before the remaining four captives are forced to kneel, one can see a German struggling to get around a US soldier to stand behind him. If this were factual, the captive would have had the opportunity to commence an attack on the captors.
In the 16th minute while eating at their base, Greg asks Mikey how he's holding up. Mikey responds, "Just another day in Europe," which makes little sense, as they are not fighting in Europe so much as in France, Italy, etc. It is not likely they would have seen action in more than one or two countries, therefore Mikey would not know about the rest of Europe.
After Archer is struck by the sniper and Boston tries to reach him, the latter is out of line of fire but tries to communicate wither Archer, who is still in the sniper's site. Instead of engaging in dialogue with Archer, Boston should have told him to play dead.
