- In one scene there is a disturbing JUMPSCARE of a persons body ripped in half by a jaguar, disturbing but not shown for very long.
- Blood spurts spew out of enemies but half of the time barely visible.
- A character is seen stabbed in the stomach then thrown down with many other bodies, a trial of blood is visible and the stabbed corpses are too.
- There are disturbing death scenes showing Lara killed, Impalement by swords and spikes, head bashed into a rock, falling off cliffs, drowning, murdered by animals and sea creatures.
- Graphic animal killings throughout the game.

- The game can be thrilling at times. Bridges can crumble and you have to run before falling to your death. A bit intense. 15+
- In one scene, zombie like creatures attack you and growl fiercely. This could be scary to young children.
- It's a bloody, graphic, gory and very violent game, just like the previous two games. There are strong scenes of animal attacks and animal killing and frequent moments of peril to keep the player on edge.
