  • Some inmates in the beginning are shown with underwear.
  • Vincent is shown nude at the beginning as he's hosed down (buttocks are briefly shown for about 2 seconds before the scene cuts
  • The Game is rather tame for a m game other than the violence and language. No sexual content of any kind

Violence & Gore

  • There is a good amount of violence in the game. But even though they are brutal, there is no gore at all.
  • There are two prison fights, but the second one is more violent than the first.
  • During the second prison fight in the kitchen, two inmates wield knives but the attacks are easily avoidable.
  • During the second prison fight, guards come to break it up and one guard stabbed and killed (blood shown). Then, the inmate who stabbed the guard is then brutally beaten (The beating is shown, and it's implied the Inmate that was beaten was killed.)
  • During a deal between Harvey, an Arabic buyer and his translator, Harvey is told that an Inmate hired to kill Leo was killed by guards after he stabbed a guard. Then, when the buyer and Harvey doesn't come to an agreement, Harvey shoots and kills the buyer and his translator. (blood splatters briefly)

Profanity

  • Frequent use of strong language throughout the game

  • The ending is very sad and will shatter most players hearts.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A main character penis is seen for a second during a shower.
  • When looking for Leo's wife, you pass a trailer where moaning can be heard. You can find out from a nearby NPC that it is a cheating husband.

Violence & Gore

  • In the game's climax, Leo and Vincent get into a shootout and then a fistfight. (Blood is shown on the edges of the screen when shot)
  • In the scene where Leo and Harvey first acquire the diamond, Harvey shoots the dealer dead (blood shown) and then proceeds to run Leo over (No blood, but Leo is on the ground squirming and in pain.)
  • The finale has Leo and Vincent shooting each other (Blood forms around the screen when shot) then they fistfight on the roof (you can hear them grunting in pain) then they race each other for a gun on the ground and whoever gets the gun shoots either Vincent (if Leo reaches the gun) or Leo (if Vincent reaches it) in the abdomen (A patch of blood forms on the person who was shot's stomach/chest area and they slouch down) this scene is emotional due to them sharing a last moment of friendship and the living character visiting the other's family to bring the news.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In the ending in which Vincent shoots Leo, Vincent goes to Linda and Tells her what happened (the conversation is inaudible.) Afterwords, when Vincent leaves, Linda is shown breaking down crying because of the news. This is emotional.
  • Leo is heard screaming as he's skydiving (he's fine due to vincent grabbing him and attaching them to each other) this could be intense for someone with a fear of heights (this part can also be a little bit humorous due to the banter between leo and vincent)
