What a huge surprise! For an independent film with a very limited budget to have such production quality and excellent casting was a huge surprise. The intersecting story arcs carry the characters through their struggles, disappointments, hopes, and redemptions. Spare script delivers its message(s) without being preachy or predictable. The original music alone is worth the trip. Go see it!

Just a gem of a movie. Great dialog, wonderful music. Rafaella Meloni has an amazing voice. Congrats to filmmaker Ben Zuckert, who shows that great film can come from small budgets.

Dealing with the unexpected as it relates to the pursuit of one's dreams is a lesser told story, but perhaps a more important story to hear. Noah Wise is a genuine approach to this story as it relates to musicians and the struggles to fulfill the dream of performing. It explores coping and taking risks with grace, humor, and passion. As a musician and music educator I loved this movie for the stories it told as well as the authenticity of seeing music portrayed on the big screen. A job well done!
This is an all around wonderful movie. The writing, acting, and production were off the charts. The two standout aspects were the original music, and the two story arcs.
The music was all composed by the writer/director. Not only was he able to create new music that informed the plot and moved the storyline forward; he also wrote beautiful songs that would sell and win awards.
The two main character story arcs parallel each other, mirror each other, and have a very unique retrograde inversion of each other. Not only are the two characters story arcs interacting with each other and informing the others choices; but they are a beautifully artistic reverse of each other. It creates the effect of a beautiful form usually only present in the most masterful music.
