Boston native Julie Rhodes told us before her recent set in our Live at Fraser series that her musical career started "on a whim". After singing along in the audience at a house show, she was given some words of encouragement to write her own songs. "We try to think of our music as an extension of our lives, and maybe that's a cliché, but I think it's something that's actually lost in the world these days."
