Warning: Spoilers
Just finished watching this episode and I've gotta say, the fact that this is rated lower than the previous three is criminal! The first three episodes were good don't get me wrong, but this episode you can feel that this show is getting comfortable and the art direction, soundtrack, and themes in this episode were incredible, literally every joke landed and it knew when to be serious and not over the top making a perfect emotional conclusion to the episode.

SPOILERS BELOW:

To name parts that blew me away, I loved the spoken word scene, where it starts as normal talking and picks up to a beautiful, rhyming poem. I loved the abscess of sound in that scene where we just got to feel the passion of the spoken word, such a good scene. Also we've gotta talk about the deaths of Akiras parents. I couldn't believe how much I cared about Akira who I've only known for about an hour, and his family life which we didn't really get into detail of until this episode. I was shocked to find myself invested the way I was into seeing his mothers face on the demon, and how Akira had to push through not only erasing what appeared to be his mother, but also the demon which his father controlled. I literally felt devastated when Akiras father tried taking control over the demon, we get the smallest glimmer of hope and then it's crushed. The shock I felt was not only because of what had happened in the episode, but also because I realized I felt so strongly for a character that hadn't been explored until a few minutes before their death.

Such a great episode, literally can't wait to see how this continues.
