This is another one of these BBC shows where an hour is given to a singer or band with a new album to promote. This time we got none of the pranks that someone like Adele did with her show.

Cat Deeley interviewed the band at Abbey Road Studios as they talked about their new album, Songs of Experience.

U2 famous for their large scale concerts give some intimate performances of their classic hits as well as their new songs. However given that they had an orchestra with them it was not that much intimate.

The band also showed some backstage footage from their recent tour. The band needs arrows on the floor to take them to the stage. You would have thought the sound of the screaming audience would be enough of a clue!

Still when it comes to the songs, U2 have little left to proof, they have a great back catalogue even if Bono at times tries your patience.
