Lakers are close yet lose again as Celtics take it in 7.
"The 1984 NBA Finals" which was televised by "CBS" put an end to the 83-84 "NBA" season and it featured a back and fourth showdown and brawl between the two best teams both who were bitter rivals the "Boston Celtics" and "Los Angeles Lakers". The series would go back and fourth with lead changes and drama. The play by play was smooth and fine with legendary voice Dick Stockton. The Lakers would steal game one in Boston, only then lose the next before winning game 3. However the turning point and changing of tide was in game 4 at the great western forum with movie stars and Lakers fans sitting court side that the Celtics would pull off a stunner. After Kevin Mchale's take down and tackle of Kurt Rambis it would change the series as it would propel Boston on to win in OT and prove that they were more physical than L. A. and eventually would win the series in 7 games. Overall this was a classic and vintage memorable "NBA" finals series.
