Twisted Nightmare: Interview with Cleve Hall (2017)
*** (out of 4)
Special effects artist Cleve Hall is interviewed by Monique McIntosh for this eighteen-minute featurette that has them discussing the making of TWISTED NIGHTMARE. One simple question by McIntosh pretty much sends Hall off into a full discussion about the making of low-budget horror movies back in the day. He talks about how you got the money for films back then compared to today. He talks about what a budget would allow you to do and he talks about how awful CGI is. He also shares some memories of working on TWISTED NIGHTMARE. This is a rather strange interview to say the least and especially with the various shots back to McIntosh but if you're a fan of the film then you should enjoy it. There are some nice stories told about the production as well as what it was like working on these types of movies back in the day.
