This ''interview'' with all of the cast is really interesting. We get to know a lot of each actors, some of their backstories. A lot of jokes as well! They are really cool guys in real life all of them. And if you like the show Stranger Things, then i must say that this is a must see!

So I watched this right when it came out. Then I watched season three and was hyped to watch the new season of this but it didn't come out! I hope Netflix reconsiders because I've rewatched this after show so many times. Loved this after show (if yknow, you couldn't tell). :)

I loved this after show. It was so great to see not only the cast talk about their roles and how they affected them, but to also see the Duffer Brothers and Shawn Levy discuss their vision for the show in detail and with such passion. (Seriously, Shawn Levy is so sweet with how passionate he is about directing his episodes of Stranger Things and working with everyone.) You can really tell that everyone involved with the show loves what they're doing and are excited about doing more.
Jim Rash is a fabulous host who has great chemistry with everyone and guides the discussions expertly and seamlessly. I love that a fan of the show is the host of the after show discussions. (I also loved him in Girlboss and That 70s Show.)
The set is cozy and looks like Mike's basement (or *is* Mike's basement, I'm not quite sure). The host and the participants of the discussion sit around a small 80s-style circular table, sipping beverages from vintage mugs, and it just really makes the viewer feel like they're having this talk in their own living room. Occasionally, Rash will gesture to a vintage TV to watch some of the cast's audition tapes, or recorded messages from cast members who couldn't be present for the after show discussions. All these little details make Beyond Stranger Things a special, satisfying cap on a show that's already stellar to begin with.
Also, the title sequence deserves it's own praise. The cool, soothing "techbeat" used in the sequence is a remix of the theme from the show, from artist C418 of Minecraft fame. The amazing 80s video game graphic-style portraits of the characters are actual fan art made by artist Wahyu 'Pinot' Ichwandari. And just like Stranger Things' title sequence, I can't find any reason to hit "skip intro" for Beyond Stranger Things.
Even though some actors could not be present for the aftershow, a couple of them taped their responses and thoughts on season 2 which were insightful and enjoyable to watch. David Harbour and Sean Astin clearly love the roles they play in the show, and it's wonderful to see.
There's also a brief appearance of Bill Nye! As someone who grew up watching Bill Nye the Science Guy, my heart soared seeing him involved (even in a small way) with a show I love as an adult.
There simply has to be another volume of Beyond Stranger Things for the third season. There's so much that needs to be discussed besides the "obvious" thing at the end of season 3, and I know I for one would love more of this talk show even if they didn't discuss *the obvious thing.* Please, please, please make volume 2. I understand it's gonna be hard to get some people to be in the same room because of schedules, but that shouldn't stop you!!

Interviews with the cast and producers of the TV Series Stranger Things.
Not as interesting or eye-opening as I thought it would be. While the TV series is superb, this series of interviews doesn't shed too much light on the making of the series. The most interesting thing is seeing the cast as themselves, rather than in-character. Getting to hear the non-Americans speak in their natural accents makes for an interesting contrast, and highlights their acting talents.
There are some good insights into the making of the series, but these are few and far between.
Overall, mildly interesting, and certainly not a must-see, even if you're a die-hard fan of Stranger Things.

Awful collection of smug love ins with cast and crew. Would strongly advise anyone who loves stranger things to avoid this like the plague. It's not good to see how incredibly self absorbed and egotistical some cast and crew are. Nauseating, cringe worthy, vomit enduring levels of self-aggrandizement have the potential to destroy ones illusions of the actual show. Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) in particular is insufferable.
Perhaps not being American I'm not accustomed to ass kissing, back slapping, over the top egotism. I realise that Millie Bobby Brown is English but the show is American & only Americans can reach such levels of braggadocio that it makes one feel physically sick. It was the same watching cast and crew of Breaking Bad on stage. Great shows, incredible shows but no one needs to hear the actors & writers telling eachother how amazing they are for 20 minutes. That is all this is. Horrible.
