Due to location restrictions, filming took place in one night over the course of 8 hours.
Initially, a casting call was only viewed as a formality, since the role seemed to be locked in for another actress. However, after seeing both an audition and screen tests with Cristina, the role ultimately went to her.
The film is one continuous take. Since filming was done in one night, each take had to be completed in its entirety ranging from 10 minutes to 12. 11 full takes were completed with the 9th being selected as the final.
Peter Klemeck won for Best Cinematography at Austin Indie Fest (2019).
Cristina won the Best Actress award for her role as Maria at the Austin Under the Stars Film Festival (2019).
