The title "Angus & Julia Stone: Chateau" here includes the names of the two singers as well as the title of the song from this 2017 music video. The writer and director if these 5 minutes is Jessie Hill, pretty experienced with music videos. The two singers here are siblings and you don't see them in the music video. Instead you see a couple who is enjoying a road trip that leads them to a wedding ceremony in a castle, which turns into even more fun as they are around. But while these scenes at the castle (i.e. at the chateau) are fun, the scenes outside in the open at the very beginning and end are at least as nice to watch. Overall, I usually need more than one watch or listen to really appreciate a song and/or music video, but here things went quickly enough for me to pick it and put it on my mp 3 player. The joy in the music video is contagious that much is safe and the audio was also to my liking. It is a nicely atmospheric little film (not hesitant to call it that) and also somewhat symbolic for the current young generation and I don#t mean it in a negative way at all. Seeing new places, meeting new amazing people, just enjoying life overall. I will still be a bit caurtious with my rating and 3 stars out of 5 seems enough for now, but there is a good chance I will perhaps increase it to 4 (which means 8 out of 10) if I keep the song in my ears. Without a doubt, it is a thumbs-up overall for me and the fact that I think I have not come across Angus Stone and Julia Stone so far, is probably mostly my loss. It may also have to do with the fact that their approach to music sounds kinda indie and not too mainstream/commercial. His voice is good and somewhat traditional, hers is slightly different and may need longer to get used too, but I think I already started liking it. That would be all. I may check out more from their work later on.
