Almost no one, especially a young patient, wakes up from anesthesia or from a head injury and does not "buck" the vent. They set off alarms on the vent, and if their hands are free they will instinctively reach for the endotracheal tube that is placed in their airway to keep it open and allow the patient to be connected to the ventilator. A patient like Elizabeth waking for the first time in months would fight the ventilator because it's trying to breathe for her and because it is irritating to the throat. Once people have consciously been on a ventilator for some period of time, many can adjust and let the machine breathe for them comfortably. But on first waking almost all will fight the sensations they get from being intubated and on a vent.
Aram runs a computer check and says a character is wanted for questioning. Cooper later says he is a person of interest. A standard NCIC check would only reveal if a subject was wanted for a crime. There is no such entry as wanted for questioning.
Aram says that Tom's car was recovered from outside room 11. at the motel. In the previous episode, when Tom pulled up he parked about 3 cars down from the car they were looking for, and you can clearly see room 8 out of the car window.
When escaping from the home, the rear window of the Ford sedan is shown as broken. The window is clearly a prop window made from Plexiglas. Normal window glass shatters and does not stay intact in shards as the glass was shown doing.
Several instances of guns heard being cocked and either shown not cocked or being hammerless and thus incapable of making the gun cocking sound.
Dembe says the bullets from the gun thugs hit the radiator and oil pan, disabling the car. The gun thugs were firing from the side and behind the car. Since the radiator is at the front, none of their rounds could have hit it. Similarly, the oil pan is under the engine and the gun thugs were firing from well above that level. Neither component could have been hit so the car would have been completely operational.
Dembe is able to start a car that has clearly sat idle for months. The battery would have been discharged and the fuel would have gone bad.
Ressler says he is going to call in CSI to process the motel room. The FBI doesn't have CSI. It has ERT, the Evidence Response Team.
Reddington uses an unlimited ammo pistol in the escape from the home, firing more rounds than it holds.
It was an obvious and foreseeable mistake for Tom and Liz to meet at home given the dangerous people who were after Tom and could easily find out where he lived if they did not know already. Someone as experienced as Tom should have known better and chosen a different place to meet.
Tom hits one of the gun thugs, and then uses his gun to kill the other two. Tom failed to kill the first one or to secure the other guns and then ambush the remaining ones as they entered. The first gun thug was then able to participate in chasing Tom. As a trained professional, Tom would not have made this many mistakes.
Liz and Aram both use the phrase "VIN number" instead of VIN. Saying VIN number is the same as saying "VIN number number.
