Chris Shiflett, guitarist for Foo Fighters, will drop his next solo effort, Lost at Sea, on Oct. 20 via Blue Élan Records. The musician teased the 10-track LP with a new single, “Damage Control,” which he has described as “Ska-mericana.” Shiflett also released a video for the track, which was filmed during his recent U.K. tour.
“I’m playing the Clash-y stab guitar line and then you have Charlie Worsham with the acoustic guitar and banjo and Nate Ketterlee bringing the spooky sound effects,” Shiflett told Consequence of Sound. “I...

Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett has revealed his newest solo record, Lost at Sea, will be out October 20th via Blue Élan Records. Along with the announcement, Consequence is exclusively premiering his new single, “Damage Control.”
Lost at Sea was recorded primarily in Nashville with producer Jaren Johnston of the Cadillac Three. Other collaborators on the album include fellow guitarists Charlie Worsham, Tom Bukovac, and Nathan Keeterle. See the artwork and tracklist below.

Not content with dominating Hollywood, Marvel has now set its sights on conquering the video game industry. We all know by now, of course, that developer Crystal Dynamics will further that cause next year with its action-adventure title that puts players in the shoes of Earth’s Avengers, but that’s not all. We’ve also got Avengers: Damage Control to look forward to, the comic book giant’s first foray into virtual reality territory and truthfully? It looks wonderful.
Set in the world-changing aftermath of Endgame, Damage Control, says Marvel, is an “all-new virtual reality adventure from Marvel Studios and ILMxLAB,” though this is one superhero adventure you won’t be enjoying from the comfort of your own living room. This experience will be available only at select The Void locations in the Us and Canada and attendees will be required to book in advance before making the journey.

The superhero clean-up operation Damage Control finally made the jump from the comics into the McU in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The governmental department set up by Tony Stark didn’t make too much of an impact, though, as they only appeared in the pre-credits scene of the movie, which was set directly after the events of 2012’s The Avengers.
One fan has spotted another occasion in Homecoming, however, when the department shows up again. The morning after Spidey faced some crooks in Avengers masks armed with Chitauri weaponry, Damage Control director Anne Marie Hoag (Tyne Daly) and Agent Foster (Gary Weeks) can be briefly spotted at the scene of the crime. They both also featured in the film’s opening scene, too, and here’s how Reddit user MaximumVibe put it:

ABC seem keen to keep Agents Of Shield going, and they still haven't officially cancelled Marvel's Inhumans, either...
Despite a critical savaging and what can most charitably be described as underperformance in the ratings, Marvel's Inhumans still isn't officially dead at ABC. Well, at least the network isn't copping to it yet.

ABC has enjoyed a reasonable amount of sustained success with its first Marvel venture, Agents Of Shield, currently airing its fifth season amid talk of a creative resurgence on the show. Inhumans, on the other hand, was another story. Trouble seemed afoot early on with Inhumans,...
