- Larry brings home a royal guest from a trip to Athens. Louisa is delighted to have a prince staying but finds herself with a less welcome guest - Captain Creech. Gerry has an interview with a local school that divides the two house-guests.
- Whilst in Athens Larry meets Indian Prince Jeejeebuoy as well as down and out drunk Captain Creech and brings them both back to Corfu. Jeejee is utterly charming, joining in household chores and admiring Gerry's animals. However Creech gets Louisa drunk, ruining Gerry's chances of attending the local school and selling Larry a boat in which he almost gets lost. Policeman Leslie has a dilemma when he discovers Daphne's father's smuggling activities but strikes a deal which endears him to the family.—don @ minifie-1
- The family does some rare cleaning, excited by the late-announced visit of Larry's Indian friend from Athens, Prince Jeejeebuoy, who turns out no Hindu royalty but a nice, stylish Oriental philosopher and pleasant, interesting guest. Leslie has past his police exam and shows initiative as beat rookie, unlike his shy, lazy Greek colleague, catching lover Daphne's father Likourgos smuggling, yet handles that well. Gerry feels encouraged by 'Prince' to focus his study on nature, but is found out by mother, who applies for him at the only local school, yet is refused on account of her own drinking, inspired by lush, broke ship captain Creech, whom Larry found in the gutter, soon turning into a happy parasite, who sells his leaky boat to Larry, who ignores sailing lessons from Leslie and drifts all the way to the dreaded, mysterious Albanian coast. Margo resolves to end the Greek-Turkish feud, at least between Zoltan and Spiros Halikiopoulos.—KGF Vissers
