Violence & Gore
- Depending on your choices one of two main characters will have their pinky finger sliced off, they later talk about missing it and it's quite intense.
- At the end of the season, Clementine gets her leg chopped off by AJ offscreen.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Depending on your choices, AJ (clementines adoptive son) can shoot another child in the head, very gruesome, if he doesn't shoot the child then someone else will die, either Violet or Louis, both of which can be love interests, their deaths feature them being eaten alive, very gory.
- Depending on your choices, a main character can have his toungue removed, you don't see it happen, but when you find him his mouth is bloodied and he can't speak anymore, it's a very frightening scene.
- At the end of the game after Clementine gets bitten and therefore infected by a walker, you must choose if AJ is to finish her off, or leave her to turn, it's a very emotional scene, especially if you've played the previous games in the series, she is later revealed to be alive which makes it a very happy seen because rather than killing her AJ has evidently amputated her leg.
- In the penultimate act of the game, the secondary antagonist is revealed to have lived through a boat explosion and two walker bites and seeks revenge on Clementine and the gang, she is bloodied and very clearly dying, she walks out of a herd of walkers singing, it's very creepy and unsettling, a fight between Clementine and Minerva (the secondary antagonist) follows this scene in which Minerva slices Clementine's leg open
- In the dark after Marlon accidently hit Brody and lock Clementine in a basement, Clementine loses track of Brody as she goes to retrieve the flashlight in order to look for a way out of the basement. Brody reanimates loudly in the dark, her walker groans growing louder as Clementine locates the flashlight. This scene is creepy.
- About halfway through the game the protagonist Clementine will have a Dream about the first games protagonist, Lee. You talk with him on a train from the first game and its very moving. Not too intense but extremely emotional and impactful.
