A step forward in the right direction
ultron-126147 September 2018
I am one of the few that enyoyed season one, Danny was finding himself all season so it was indeed slow, but after the events of Defenders this season promises better action, stronger story and good character development, hope the rest of the season delivers, 3 episodes less than the last season it´s a good signal that this may not be as slow as the previous one, Long Live Iron Fist!

Definitely A Step Up From Season 1
MekkaMax8 September 2018
I'm one of the people who didn't downright hate season 1. I thought it was alright. It had two stand out action scenes and a story just good enough to make me want to finish it. Season 2 strives to fix the mistakes of season 1 by improving the action scenes and by developing a more interesting Danny Rand. However, there are some scenes that just reminded me why I didn't like the first season. The Meechum family and Davos just aren't that interesting to me. I would rather see what Colleen and Danny are up to. The CGI also isn't good. At times, it looks cartoony and is reminiscent of Luke Cage's season 2 CGI. Overall, there were things to like and things to hate in this first episode and I really hope they keeep improving as the episodes go on.

The Fury of Iron Fist
bobcobb30117 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I feel like Iron Fist got some unfair hate the first season. Peopel saw the bad reviews ahead of the premiere and clinched to that notion.

It wasn't great, but there are worse shows out there. Unfortunately, the second season feels like it is repeating a lot of the same mistakes. Pretty lame and generic villains and the same kind of predictable premises we have seen on every other Netflix Marvel show.

Is it me, or is Davos being a weinee?!

Warning: Spoilers
Davos is back among other issues. One thing is for sure, he's jealous of Rand(aka Ironfist)and being used as a pawn by the Meachums.

Unremarkable

An utterly unremarkable season opener. Trite dialogue, annoying characters, and choppy action sequences are the order of the day here. I'm wondering why I'm supposed to care.

A Fúria do Punho de Ferro
foxbrvar10 June 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Punho de Ferro (2017-2018)

Series

2nd Season (2018)

Episode One - A Fúria do Punho de Ferro

The second season starts with a mistake, in one take the truck passes Danny and then when Danny reloads his firefly fist and attacks the truck, the truck is behind, it started like the first season, full of mistakes.

This series already looks like a bad copy of Arrow, the way Danny's parents died in a conspiracy on a trip, Danny/Oliver's training, Harold with the same attitudes as Malcolm Merlyn, Ward being Tommy Merlyn, Joy is the mix of Thea and Laurel, Colleen mix of Felicity and Diggle, and now Finn Jones with cut hair looking like Stephen Amell.

The fight scenes have improved a little (it couldn't get any worse, right), now the few fans of the series have no excuse to say that the fights are bad because Danny doesn't wear a mask and it's difficult for the stunt double, now he wears a mask.

Joy blames her brother for hiding that her father was alive, but she didn't blame her father for not showing up, now she even blames Danny because he supposedly showed up and ruined her family's life, guys, I don't want to defend Danny, but he's the least guilty of all this.

I'm strongly hoping that Joy has been hypnotized, mind controlled or something, it's the only explanation (maybe bad script?) for why she's acting like this, it doesn't make any sense for her to blame Danny.

If that's not the case, the actress is very bad, she's acting like a bad soap opera actress, with exaggerated, caricatured faces and mouths.

Episode one of the second season of the Punho de Ferro series watched on June 10, 2024.

Rating: 4/10.

Can we please replace this show with Heroes For Hire?
osirismalkovich-2549419 September 2018
I didn't make it to the end of season 1, but after the Defenders I was willing to give Iron Fist another try. But it's just not as compelling as the other Marvel Netflix shows. The fight scenes have gotten way better in this episode, but the story is still uninteresting and the characters aren't engaging. HOWEVER, there was an episode of Luke Cage where Danny came to visit Luke and advise him, and it was the BEST episode of EITHER SHOW. I would LOVE if they dropped Iron Fist as a series and made a Luke Cage/Iron Fist team up show, HEROES FOR HIRE.We don't have to get bogged down with ancient destinies and inter-gang warfare, we can just have two great heroes that work really well together doing the kind of awesome fight scenes that we thought we'd get from Iron Fist. That's a show that would be worth watching a whole season of.

Terrible Start
edpeace5520 August 2021
While season one started well it went slowly bad, as in so slow it became boring. Fight, fight, fight, just reasons for fights without much intelligent plat development. Now a new season and they seem to be floundering badly on what to do, what direction to take the show. From this episode, all I see is boredom and a lost cause.

When the story goes flat, add fake drama
narreduen26 October 2019
The first one was okay, should have ended there. Unfortunately like some other series, when the characters are flat and the story has reached it's end, they add fake drama on top. It's greedy and untalented.

Beyond Disappointing
erincarter2569 September 2018
I Always go into new season with an open mind, usually hoping that maybe something that had a good premise but mediocre first season could step up their game.

But unfortunately this episode was beyond disappointing. You have Danny and Colleen trying to out victim each other in one scene that makes you roll your eyes so hard, which was just the start over an over dramatised story line that makes you disconnect from the characters rather than root for them.

Not going to move forward with the rest of the season
