This episode of Marvel's Spider-Man details the origins of Spider-Man before jumping into the show at hand. I find that this episode really encapsulates the nerdiness of Peter Parker. It shows that he's a typical nerdy kid. Comparing it to the live action Spider-Men, it seems to be closer to Tobey's origins than Andrew's origins. I have only watched all the Spider-Man movies but not really any of the series and this one is the only series I have really watched, so I could really compare the origins of the film versions plus this one. Good to have some similarities but I find it good if every origin of this character is slightly different so it doesn't seem like we are getting the exact same thing over and over again, only difference being the actors and/or animation style (if applicable). I find this episode alright and the series really gets better as it goes on. Earlier episodes I feel it's more of a 7/10 and when it gets to late season 1 and season 2, it starts being more 8/10 or 9/10 in my opinion and it gets way more interesting and really leaves you waiting until the next episodes releases the week after (I've been watching through the Marvel HQ YouTube channel and it currently has episodes well into the second season).
