The group had about 40 ideas for a video clip, including the idea of the bombing of Hiroshima.
Since May 2001, this song is performed at every concert of the group.
Initially, the song was written for the Ukrainian boxer Vitali Klitschko - it was supposed to sound before the start of the fight, during entering the ring. Hence its working name - "Klitschko".
The role of Snow White was performed by the Russian model Yulia Stepanova. In one of the moments of the clip, a montage was made: a high basketball player named Robert occupied Yulia's place, and her face was superimposed using computer graphics.
It was first performed on April 16, 2000, under the working title "Klitschko" (it was very different from the version that came out as part of the album Mutter) at the Knaack club in Berlin, where the band occasionally performed for members of the official fan club.
