During the rehearsal process for "Trailer Park Shark" Sophie Howell, who plays Barb, jokingly suggested that during her electrocution scene she have a dance montage just for the bloopers. The director, Griff Furst, loved the idea and, unfortunately, ended up putting it in the movie.
The line "at least I don't go around town letting everybody tongue punch my fart box" was not originally in the script. Elise Berggreen added it during her audition for the part of "Daisy."
Sophie Howell's character "Barb" was named Barb because it's "short for Barb Wire and because where her eyebrows should be she has barbed wire tattoos." She was so inspired by castmate Thomas Ian Nicholas' complete and total devotion to Method, she shaved her eyebrows off for the movie and had barbed wire permanently tattooed in their place.
Wyatt actor Peter Jaymes was doubled by stunt man and real life step-brother, Sean "Poo Poo" Braud. In order to match his brother's belly, Sean stuffed a plastic lobster bib into the front of his shirt.
Despite being surrounded by a cast of well known movie stars, Dennis Haskins was the only one who received a standing ovation on the 1st day on the set. He was so moved that he personally thanked everyone in attendance.
