The A. Stirling sculptures shown in this micro-short film were all exhibited at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. Most of them were made of plaster over wire mesh, so only lasted for the year of the fair. After the exposition closed, the sculptures were destroyed along with the temporary buildings.
This micro-short film was a challenge from two international film festivals to create a documentary film with a running time of less than one minute.
