I have watched quite a few of these American WW2 intro videos for soldiers. They are always quite humorous and have high budgets. They are indeed made to entertain as they were made for the average soldier. Often uneducated men and many didn't have any degree. So the docs are always direct and simple. Way too simple for modern day people really. This doc does reveal quite a few great things about tanks and how to fight them. You learn how the vision is from a tank and what tanks can't handle. Soldiers hiding in fox holes is pretty much all it takes as tanks can't see or hit them while you can shoot at tanks.
I feel like a modern day intro would go over this step by step and give 20 details too about smaller stuff. Instead we get a basic script. Keep in mind they also couldn't just film everything. Film strips were expensive, hard to store, and you couldn't bring many with you.
