The Coven has boarded Patricia Heaton-led horror The Beldham from Wicked Myth Films and heads to Cannes with worldwide sales rights.
Angela Gulner’s feature debut follows single mother Harper played by Katie Parker (The Fall Of The House Of Usher) who moves in with her own mother (Heaton) to renovate a fading suburban farmhouse.
Before long, Harper finds herself haunted by a threatening presence that seems to desire her infant child. Inspired by folklore about the Beldham, an old hag that feeds on the souls of the young, the film blurs the lines between myth and the true...

Film financier BondIt Media Capital has closed a new co-financing partnership with Cineverse for North American production, acquisition and distribution of film projects.
First up under the deal is distribution support for Cineverse (and its horror division Bloody Disgusting) for upcoming Terrifier 3, the third installment in the worldwide cult horror phenomenon featuring Art the Clown.
Micro-budget Terrifier 2 released in the fall of 2022 grossed more than $15 million in worldwide box office. The production companies behind the film, Dark Age Cinema and The Coven, re-teamed with filmmaker Damien Leone (and David Howard Thornton as Art the Clow) for Terrifier 3, which wrapped production in New York last month and is set for an October 11, 2024 theatrical release.
Cineverse (formerly Cinedigm) and led by former MGM chairman Chris McGurk has previously said the film will “unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.

Sarah Paulson is already a Golden Globe winner for “The People v. O.J. Simpson” and now she’s on track to receive another nomination, this time for Netflix’s “Ratched.” She’s one of the top five contenders for Best TV Drama Actress, according to Gold Derby’s predictions, along with Olivia Colman (“The Crown”), Laura Linney (“Ozark”), Jurnee Smollett (“Lovecraft Country”) and Jodie Comer (“Killing Eve”). But Paulson possesses a secret weapon the other leading ladies don’t have: Ryan Murphy.
The mega producer is a favorite of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, winning five times over the years for “Nip/Tuck,” “The People vs. O.J. Simpson,” “The Assassination of Gianni Versace” and “Glee” twice. Many of his actors have received Golden Globe nominations and wins through the years, including Paulson (“O.J.”), Darren Criss (“Versace”), Jessica Lange (“American Horror Story: Murder House”), Lady Gaga (“American Horror Story: Hotel...

Ryan Murphy is back to doing what he does best: scaring us. Fresh off the September debut of Ratched—the Sarah Paulson-led drama inspired by One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest—Murphy has taken to social media to tease what's in store for the future of American Horror Story. The answer? A completely separate spinoff that already sounds like it'll live up to some of the best AHS seasons (Murder House and Coven are honestly untouchable). In a new poster, Murphy confirmed that the spinoff to his beloved anthology series is called American Horror Stories. Unlike the original franchise, each episode of Stories will spotlight an entirely new tale. "It's the AHS spinoff,"...

For the first time since its debut in 2011, “American Horror Story” was not a part of FX’s fall TV schedule. We know, we know — that’s even scarier than seeing Twisty the Clown at your birthday party. “AHS” Season 10 was supposed to begin filming in Spring 2020, but then the coronavirus pandemic began flaring up in the United States so production was understandably delayed. Thus, the premiere date will now be sometime in 2021, FX has confirmed. While we’re still waiting on official word on the season’s spooky theme, the cast list has been unveiled.
Here’s everything to know about “American Horror Story” Season 10. Bookmark this page as we’ll be updating when new information is revealed.

The 2020 Emmy ballots have been released by the Television Academy, so we now know which shows, actors, etc. are in contention for this year’s golden statues. FX’s “American Horror Story: 1984” accounts for a whopping 29 entries across all competitive ballots, including 10 actors for their roles as counselors/workers at the hauntingly tubular Camp Redwood. This ninth season of the popular anthology series welcomed back fan favorites like John Carroll Lynch (as Mr. Jingles) and Emma Roberts (as Brooke Thompson) while also introducing some new blood in the form of Angelica Ross (as Nurse Rita) and Gus Kenworthy (as Chet Clancy).
This installment, which aired last September-November, is also notable for producing the show’s landmark 100th episode, which flash-forwarded a year after the massacre at Camp Redwood. Will “Ahs: 1984” continue the franchise’s winning streak at the 2020 Emmys? The first eight cycles took home 16 trophies, including acting wins...

“The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” will end with a part four on Netflix later this year.
Netflix and showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa made the announcement on Wednesday night.
“Working on ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ has been an incredible honor from day one. The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teen witch, has been an absolute joy. I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show,” said Aguirre-Sacasa. “I’m also grateful to our partners at Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television and Archie Comics for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it. We can’t wait for everyone to see Part Four.”
The final installment promises a spooky, sexy and supernatural series finale — but not before Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) reveals a few more tricks up her retro-chic sleeve.

Last year the TV academy forced FX’s “American Horror Story” to submit in the drama categories for the first time, since the “Apocalypse” season contained continuing storylines and characters from both “Murder House” and “Coven.” Because of the switcheroo, “Ahs” scream queen Jessica Lange was able to nab an Emmy nomination in Best Drama Guest Actress — a category she wouldn’t have been eligible for had the show stayed as a limited series. (Lange lost to Cherry Jones for “The Handmaid’s Tale.”) At this year’s Emmys, the exact same thing could happen to Andrew Scott for his one-and-done role on Netflix’s “Black Mirror.”
