YouTube stars Rhett & Link later this year will revert to their original shorter “Good Mythical Morning” daily talk-show runtime — less than a year after the comedy duo have been trying their hand at a longer-form, TV-style format.
The news came at Studio71’s Digital Content NewFronts presentation in NYC for advertisers. The company also announced it’s bringing back “This Might Get,” the daily talk show from YouTube comedians and BFFs Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart, for a second season, along with a deal with Fine Brothers Entertainment that includes three new original shows and a branded-content partnership.
Studio71 also touted upcoming content coming from its ongoing partnerships with actor-comedian Lilly Singh, aka YouTube’s “SuperWoman,” and Seven Bucks Digital Studios, the digital arm of Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions.
With the next season of “Good Mythical Morning,” the show will return to a one-segment, 12-...

After launching his own YouTube channel last year, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has taken the online video world by storm. And now, the trailer has arrived for Johnson’s first-ever YouTube Red project, which was first announced almost exactly one year ago at Mipcom.
Lifeline, an eight-episode sci-fi thriller series executive produced by Johnson’s Seven Bucks Digital Studios and Studio71, bows next Wednesday on YouTube Red. The below video of “Bro Science Life: The Series” isn’t just the almost 12-minute conclusion to Parts 1 and 2 of the original series, posted last week. It’s actually part of a pilot episode of television — one which was produced by Dany Garcia and Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks Digital Studios for the purpose of seeking out third party distribution.
“Bro Science Life,” created by Mike Tornabene and Gian Hunjan, is a comical take on gym rat culture that has a significant following, at least by the YouTube numbers: The BroScienceLife YouTube account currently has 1.9 million subscribers and almost 275 million views after four years of posting — meaning it has enough of an audience to make the concept of a series with its lead talent and unique sensibility at the forefront make sense. Starring Tornabene as gym owner/”Brofessor” Dom Mazzetti, the pilot tracks Dom trying to save his “gym-topia” with...

YouTube's most lovable meathead is now the star of his very own series. Dom Mazzetti, the workout-crazed character portrayed by Mike Tornabene, is the star of BroScienceLife: The Series, which has premiered on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's YouTube channel.
The series is an extension of the videos available on the BroScienceLife YouTube channel, where Tornabene's pitch-perfect take on the "musclebound dimwit" stereotype has attracted close to two million subscribers. Now, he has evidently been given a much bigger budget to work with, and the result is a polished mockumentary that makes Mazzetti the owner of his own gym. With his finances in disarray, he must partner with a woman from his past, whose exercise program has the potential to save his business.

Earlier this month, as part of a promotion for the Baywatch movie, influencer Logan Paul teamed up with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for a web series on Johnson’s YouTube channel. In the series, called The Rock And Logan Paul’s Summer Saga, Paul attempts to join the Baywatch squad with help from Johnson, but ultimately ends up falling in love with his co-star, Alexandra Daddario.
The series culminates with a music video called The Song Of The Summer, which has clocked nearly 5 million views thus far on Johnson’s channel, Seven Bucks Digital Studios. The song features appearances from rapper Desiigner and Baywatch veteran David Hasselhoff. In the hilariously surreal and psychedelic clip, Paul finds the girl of his dreams -- only to have her stolen away by Desiigner and Hasselhoff. The Song Of The Summer was written and produced by Jean-Baptiste and Ryan ‘DJ Replay’ Buendia, who have...

When you want it, you want it. And influencer Logan Paul apparently wants Baywatch actress Alexandra Daddario’s heart badly enough to try and woo her over with song.
In his new music video spoof (produced by Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Digital Studios), the digital celebrity embarks on a quest to get Daddario to fall in love with him after he finds out she only dates musicians. And so he creates what he hopes to be the most epic song of the summer, cleverly entitled…’Song of the Summer!’
Does it work? Not so fast! In a bizarre twist,...

It's amazing to see how some people careers progress. In this case I am talking about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The former WWE superstar who's first match came in 1996 at Survivor Series at Madison Square Garden. His film debut came in The Mummy Returns in 2001 and since then he has taken the film industry by storm doing films like Walking Tall and joining the Fast and the Furious crew all the way to being The Tooth Fairy. With future films already in the works like Rampage and a future role as DC Comic's Black Adam, it is safe to say that Johnson isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
If wrestling and movies weren't enough, Johnson alongside Dany Garcia are expanding their production company known as Seven Bucks Productions. Variety is reporting that using their digital arm called Seven Bucks Digital Studios and in partnership with Studio71, Seven Bucks Productions has launched it's first-ever pilot program.
