It's not a bad episode but it's not good either especially compared prior seasons.

Worst Cuckoo episode ever

Unnecesary episode regarding the poor dog. And, even though you know (or you can imagine) what happened, the scene with the roasted dog's head is of an utterly bad taste. You could say "it's a lot more than the dog plot on this episode". Yes, you could be right, but the dog part clouded everything else. Of course in my opinion.
