This shows the first incidence of Iris being able to talk to Barry whilst he is moving faster than normal humans are capable of perceiving, causing the room to be seen as frozen. It is a previously unknown ability demonstrated by Barry.
Fallout's real name is briefly shown on a screen as Neil Borman, a reference to Danish physicist Niels Bohr, who won the Nobel prize for physics for his work in understanding atomic structure and quantum theory.
