Cole Sprouse revealed that his twin brother Dylan was a “huge bully” in school during a podcast appearance on Wednesday (8 March).
The Sprouse twins became Hollywood stars from the age of six after sharing the role of Adam Sandler’s son in 1999’s Big Daddy.
They became best known for the Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, in which they starred from 2005 to 2008.
During that time, the brothers were balancing time in school with their acting careers.
On the popular US podcast Call Her Daddy, Cole told host Alexandra Cooper that he and Dylan were “f***ing d***s” throughout elementary school and middle school.
“Dylan specifically was a huge bully,” Cole said.
Asked how Dylan would bully people, Cole answered: “He would beat them up! And then I became known as the twin that would come up and be like ‘I’m so sorry for my brother.

Director Herman Yau puts aside for a moment the social and political themes that often are the backbone of his films to dedicate his time to “Nessun Dorma”, an exercise in the noir genre which is a bit pulp and rather disposable. The film takes inspiration for its title from the Puccini’s opera Turandot, as Nessun Dorma is the famous aria from its final act, but it has very little to do with the events of the opera itself.
Jasmine (Janice Ma) is a beautiful and young Hongkonger who runs a cheerful shelter for abandoned dogs – probably just out of passion given her luxurious standard of living – and is about to marry Vincent (Gordon Lam), a wealthy and famous businessman. We can guess that Vincent is famous from magazine covers portraying the couple and from constant references to lurking paparazzi and journalists but it is never clear why he is so famous.

With 40-odd studio albums over a 60-plus-year recording career, it would take many days just to listen to Aretha Franklin’s peerless archive of music, let alone assess it. Yet with years of fandom behind him, longtime Variety contributor Chris Morris has chosen a necessarily subjective selection of 10 exceptional performances from the one and only Queen of Soul, who passed away Thursday, which offers some idea of the scope of her achievement over the breadth of her virtuosic career. Beginners are pointed to her early albums for Atlantic, particularly “Lady Soul” and “I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You,” as well as compilations like “30 Greatest Hits” and “Queen of Soul.”
“The Day Is Past and Gone”. Aretha Franklin’s prodigious talent was on full display in her first recording, made at the age of 14 at her father’s church in Detroit. It’s a pure gospel performance,...

The very first time that Grammy Awards telecast producer Ken Ehrlich worked with 18-time winner Aretha Franklin was on his second-ever awards ceremony in 1981, the initial one held at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. Franklin sang her nominated song “Can’t Turn You Loose,” which lost out to Stephanie Mills’ “Never Knew Love Like This Before.” Seventeen years later, in 1998, again at Radio City Music Hall, Ehrlich was faced with the last-minute cancellation of Luciano Pavarotti, who was scheduled to sing “Nessum dorma,” the climactic aria from Puccini’s opera “Turandot,” and turned to the Queen of Soul, who had just sung the song a few days prior at the MusiCares Person of the Year dinner honoring the legendary Italian tenor.

Twenty years ago at the 1998 Grammy Awards, the unsinkable Aretha Franklin did what, for many, may have been the unthinkable. She filled in for an ailing Luciano Pavarotti and performed the aria “Nessun Dorma” from the Giacomo Puccini opera “Turandot.”
This wasn’t just the equivalent of Celine Dion stepping in for Barbra Streisand at the 1997 Oscars or Faith Hill covering for Whitney Houston at the Academy’s request in 2000. This was the Queen of Soul tackling classical music.
It was one of those hold-your-breath-and-then-lose-it moments. The fear that she couldn’t possibly pull it off was followed by relief, then astonishment, then pride, because she did. Franklin brought the house down and the entire audience up to their feet for what would go down as one of the most memorable performances in Grammy history.
Sadly, there will be no more unforgettable performances from Franklin. The 76-year-old singer died on...

Legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin died on Thursday at 76 after a battle with cancer, but her decades-long career featured some of the most memorable live performances in modern music history.
From her legendary 1968 tour dates in Sweden and Amsterdam to her melodic tributes at presidential inaugurations, Franklin brought audiences to their feet and to tears just about anywhere and anytime she took the stage, which makes choosing her best moments nearly impossible.
In memoriam, here’s a sample of Franklin’s most iconic live performances throughout her life.
“Night Life,” Sweden, 1968
Franklin’s 1968 European tour included a number of unforgettable performances, featuring live renditions of songs primarily from the three albums she’d released on Atlantic to date. But one in particular that has withstood the test of time is bluesy cover of Willie Nelson’s “Night Life.”
