A Perfect Way to Come Full Circle
jonathan-6009321 March 2019
When Wil Wheaton becomes the star of an episode it means all is well in the universe. This was a perfect episode that brought so many arcs to completion, something that many shows fail to do in their final season. Over the years Wheaton has developed a perfect synergy with the core cast and that synergy shone bright in what is likely his last episode in the series. It was a fun, quirky and totally enjoyable episode.

One of the better episodes of the season

Warning: Spoilers
This felt like an older episode of the Big Bang Theory. It didn't have too much relationship drama and was more about geek/nerd culture. The scene where Will Wheaton yells at the guys was particularly great

Let it all hang out love notes to the fans

Reading some of the previous reviews I have to wonder how these people have escaped the fact that BBT is ending? So yeah, they're going to have some fun with it. It's not going to be Emmy award winning thought-provoking and character developing... It's going to be fun! And this one was fun. They always have fun when somebody from a show that creates waves of nerdgasms put in an appearance. Lighten up y'all. It's a comedy, it's sophomoric and juvenile and doesn't strain the brain - just as it should be.

The D&D Vortex
bobcobb30122 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Wil's celebrity D&D game felt similar to the Two and a Half Men episode where Charlie has his celebrity drinking group/support group. Both Chuck Lorre shows so no shock there.

It did not feel like stuntcasting though. The celebrity guests provided some laughs, but the backdrop of the gang fighting over a spot in the game worked as well.

Maybe a stretch turning this into a whole episode, but we've seen much worse than this.

Perhaps It's Time to Move On

When Wil Wheaton becomes the star of an episode, it's pretty sad. I did enjoy seeing some of the big time SciFi guys playing D&D with him, but otherwise, the plot was dull. Maybe they could add another two minutes of commercials. Eventually, the commercials will be interrupted by the show. Obviously, the characters' priorities in life have stagnated to utter predictability.

Jumping the Shark!

WTF happened here, "BBT"?!? Not one moment was engaging! I sometimes have nightmares where a familiar show or movie does an episode or sequel where I know the characters but EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS FLAT AND OFF ! ! ! That's what watching this episode was like.

Jumped the Shark BIG TIME ! ! !
