How many Dave Grohls can you fit on one plane? Apparently quite a few.

Smile...

I see a couple of reviews on this music video. The ones who wrote them truly didn't do what I believe everyone should do when watching this. Take a moment, enjoy the music (I mean, that is the true reason that you are even giving this a glance... right? ), and then appreciate that you have the opportunity to smile, to laugh, and best of all to continue giggling afterwards. This reminds me of watching a slap stick "Saturday Night Live" skit. The difference is that the cast are silent while allowing the lyrics of this great song that is playing with the chorus repeatedly telling us the story. Watching Dave Grohl and others give priceless facial expressions to every character that they are playing in this something else.

Enough said. If you like the song and want a smile, watch it.

Warning: Spoilers
"Foo Fighters: Learn to Fly" is a music video that runs for minimally over 4.5 minutes and the title already tells you about the artists and the name of the song you are about to hear although you could also add Tenacious D. This one won a Grammy over 15 years ago and it was filmed by prolific music video and television director Jesse Peretz. He worked with the Foos on really many occasions. This one here takes place pretty much completely on a plane to fit the title, but the shot at comedy in here really just stays a shot. Sure it is never easy if you cannot include normal dialogues, but rely entirely on the singing, but you have to do better than that. All the drag clothing humor and crew members acting in a very feminine way is somthing that perhaps only Almodovar can turn into quality if at all. Here it stays the shot and it's not successful. So I must say I am glad it was this short. My suggestion is that you just listen to the song without watching the video as the music really isn't that bad and also on the catchy side. I've heard worse from the Foo Fighters and especially from Tenacious D. But as we are on the film website here rating and reviewing movies if you want to call music videos like that, I give this one a thumbs-down. Not recommended, unless for the very biggest FF and Jack Black fans.
