Glad this show tends to show more scientific process...but ya'll are still doing too much assuming, speculating, & entering opinion (even "educated opinion") as fact. A few facts that often screw up finds in science:
-> Humans have been migrating worldwide, since they had limbs to propel themselves! That's MILLIONS of years, at least. It would be much more rare to find someplace which humans had Not lived or traveled through!
-> Massive earth changes over time, changed climates of entire continents over that time; meaning, what's desert now, used to be lush jungle, or, under the oceans; what used to be flat land, is now mountain range, for instance.
So, Scientists need to stop jumping to conclusions like "no one ever lived there"; or, "interesting statue, must be a religious artifact"...
-> And last but not least...coincidence is NOT causation.
As for that orange layer in the earth's atmosphere? Love the idea of elements up there reacting to make orange light. But...how about this: the poles have been shifting measurably, & fractionating, for over 30 years (sorry to all the
JZ Knight followers...not overnight). No one knows what-all goes along with that, except that it is a pervasive, earth-affecting event that has happened periodically over earth's history. But it's very possible that part of related earth effects might include that layer of orange light in the atmosphere...no one's tried to sample it yet, have they? ...or maybe it's benevolent space brothers spreading nano- gold dust up there to protect us from global warming ๐
