I cannot deny this was a fun episode with some amusing moments, especially Wedge trying to 'use the refresher' while AP-5 bothers him but it is odd how such comedic episodes get thrown in amongst more serious Star Wars canon building.
I really cannot understand why Lucasfilm made Clone Wars and Rebels have such comedy fillers aimed at young children as well as all the wonderful serious, dark, grown up storytelling that is so powerful for the overall Star Wars saga. Why didn't they make 3 shows - Clone Wars, Rebels and an additional comedy cartoon aimed at younger viewers with droids and Jar Jar? They could have kept Clone Wars and Rebels as more witty, grown up humour mixed with the serious storytelling for more advanced children, teens and adults then put all the silly childish stuff into a separate show just for young kids to watch for fun. I rate Clone Wars and Rebels as amazing due to all the awesome stuff in them but I have to overlook the comedy fillers which are just for kids. It seems unnecessary to throw it all in together.
Anyway as comedy fillers go this is actually entertaining but when you get two spins on musical numbers it feels hugely out of place in a canonical Star Wars saga series!
