Meandering erotic thriller from South Korea

Warning: Spoilers
DANGEROUS LOVE DEED 2, aka DEATH IN DESERT, is an erotic thriller from South Korea made as a sequel to a film so far unavailable in the West. I only happened to see this because Amazon Prime were randomly showing it in a high definition quality copy. The film itself turns out to be a waste of time, a slow and obviously-plotted thriller about a young woman who gets involved with the wrong man. When the two spend a torrid night together and he dies suddenly afterwards, she must deal with the aftermath.

The film is typically well made by Korean standards, with good cinematography and the like. It's a shame, then, that the tale is so slim and obvious. Most of the time, the director is merely showing off every inch of his main star's body, while the sex scene is one of the longest and most explicit I can remember seeing in a long time. Unfortunately, apart from the sex and nudity, there's little going on here. Weird characters come and down and everything is drawn out to an overdone length. It's not a film I can recommend at all.
