"There are some things worse than airline food," and a punk rock band is about to find that out the hard way while 30,000 feet in the air in the proof of concept short film Dead Air. Directed by Geoff Harmer and written by Peter Hearn (the filmmaker behind Scrawl), Dead Air is a love letter to ’80s practical effects and flat-out fun horror comedies, and while it has been filmed, it needs your help getting across the finish line.
From Dead Air's Indiegogo Page: "Dead Air is a story about a group of female punks on a plane to their final gig who come up against a horde of evil little creatures who want nothing more than to drag everyone to hell.
We Have Shot It. We Now Need Your Help To Finish It.

One all-female punk rock band. One Boeing 737. One horde of creepy creatures brought to life using practical puppet effects. If you now have a smile on your face wide enough to rival Jack Torrance's grin, then you'll likely be a big fan of what director Geoff Harmer has in store for his next short film, Dead Air.
Written by Peter Hearn (the filmmaker behind Scrawl), Dead Air is planned as a proof of concept short that will be one big step towards getting a feature film version made. Today, Harmer and Hearn launched a Kickstarter campaign for Dead Air, giving horror fans insights into their love letter to ’80s practical effects and flat-out fun horror comedies.
