Mick tells Nate that he's never seen a shrink because he doesn't regret killing his father. But in the four-episode "Invasion!" crossover, he tells Supergirl how he got the nickname "Heat Wave"; she calls it a colorful backstory, to which he replies "My shrink thinks so."
When President Johnson arrives in Vietnam, a Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star aircraft is parked behind him, possibly as the escort to his flight. The T-33 is a trainer from the 1950s and would never be used as armed escort for the President and would not be used in a war zone. While some countries armed them with two machine guns, the T-33 was not used in this way in Vietnam by US forces.
Mick's father is identified by Nate as a Green Beret, but the beret the character is wearing, which IS green, lacks the identifying Special Forces flash and crest. No Special Forces operator would have ever worn the distinctive green beret minus the flash and crest. Also, the unit insignia seen on the sleeve of the character's jungle fatigues is not that of a Special Forces unit. Operators in a forward jungle setting such as the one depicted in the episode occasionally wore the 'tiger stripe' jungle fatigues without unit designations, but if they were trying to operate incognito, they very likely would not have worn a beret either. In this instance, they would have most likely worn a bucket hat or an Aussie style wide brimmed hat.
When the Legends get to '67 Vietnam, Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Tombstone Shadow" opens the scene. While the choice is a refreshing change from the usual pick for a CCR 'Nam song, not only did it come out in '69 but CCR's first album was released in '68.
The usual TV firearms errors: When the troops are first seen in the jungle, a rustling is heard and as they point their M-16 rifles, a gun cocking sound is heard. The M-16 is incapable of making that sound, and troops in a combat zone would carry their rifles with a round chambered, so the bolt cycling sound it would make would not happen as depicted. The same error happens a few minutes later when Rory and Steel are confronted by the soldiers and then again before the subsequent firefight. It happens again when Anh points a gun at Zari. When she does so, both of her hands are on the gun, so she could not have cocked it. It happens yet again when a soldier with a bolt action rifle takes Ray prisoner. A bolt action rifle like the M-16 is incapable of making the sound heard. It happens again when Jax runs out in front of the President's convoy. The one time the sound is accurately used is when Sgt. Rory chambers a round in his Model 1911 pistol before Mick challenges him, but that was also an error as a trained special forces soldier would carry the gun with a round chambered.
The gun cocking sound is a common error made by sound editors that lack knowledge of how firearms operate.

After Grodd jumps on the wave rider, all Gideon needed to do was invert the ship and he would fall off.
