Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have been together for almost a year, but the newly engaged couple are notoriously private about their romance. On May 31, Qualley surprised fans when she revealed that she and Antonoff are getting married. "Oh I love him!," she captioned a series of Instagram photos showing off her engagement ring with her fiancé.
Qualley and Antonoff first sparked dating rumors in August 2021, when they were photographed kissing during a NYC outing. However, they didn't go public with their relationship until the following March, when they made their couple debut at the AFI Awards Luncheon. The occasion also marked the first time Qualley made their romance Instagram official, with a post captioned, "Date night."
This past April was also a big milestone for the couple, who attended the Grammy Awards together. Antonoff was up for album of the year for his work on Taylor Swift's album "Evermore.

King Princess has a new song she can’t wait to talk about. It’s a breakup song that starts out soft and dreamy before erupting into a scorched-earth mid-Nineties rager with the biggest chorus she’s ever belted. But the description that really nails “Change the Locks” — the one that makes King Princess beam as she shares it — came from someone in the studio, who said it sounds like menstruating at Lilith Fair.
“I was like, ‘Cunt!’ That’s exactly what I’m going for!” the 23-year-old musician says.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have been going strong for six years. The couple have worked hard to keep their love story under wraps (it's still unclear whether or not those engagement rumors are true), but every now and then, we get tiny glimpses into their relationship. No matter how much they divulge, however, Swift and Alwyn have made it very clear that they don't plan on publicizing their sweet romance anytime soon - if ever.
Thankfully, Swift's music has doubled as a documentary into their relationship. We've seen (or rather listened to) their love for one another grow with each album, from "Reputation" and "Lover" to more recently "Folklore" and "Evermore." Naturally, Swift's music has made fans only more curious about the status of their relationship.
While promoting Hulu's new series "Conversations With Friends," the British actor briefly touched on why he won't be addressing the engagement rumors.

Taylor Swift supports her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, and his career endeavors just as much as he supports her chart-topping success. So the "Conversations With Friends" star didn't have to warn the "Evermore" singer about his steamy Nsfw scenes in the upcoming Hulu series - Swift already knew they were coming. "I mean, she's read the book and she loves the book, so she knows it," Alwyn told Extra about Swift's reactions to his love scenes. "She just like couldn't be a bigger fan of the project."
Hulu's "Conversations With Friends" is a 12-episode adaptation of Sally Rooney's debut 2017 novel of the same name. In the series, Alwyn plays Nick alongside newcomer Alison Oliver (Frances), Sasha Lane (Bobbi), and Jemima Kirke (Melissa). The actor describes the drama as a modern love story, and to prep for their heated scenes, Alwyn's costar Oliver said the two worked with an intimacy coordinator.

Fans have been convinced for years that Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, are secretly engaged, or even secretly married. Alwyn, who stars in Hulu's upcoming "Conversations With Friends" finally addressed the rumors - kind of.
In a new interview with WSJ. Magazine, he said, "If I had a pound for every time I think I've been told I've been engaged, then I'd have a lot of pound coins. I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn't say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn't say."
Alwyn confessed that he'd "like to feel slightly less guarded sometimes in interviews or in whatever kind of interactions," but he said, "If you give it to them, it just opens the door."

After all, he was one of the co-writers behind girlfriend Taylor Swift's Folklore and Evermore albums under the pseudonym William Bowery. However, the Conversations With Friends actor now says writing hits is in his rearview mirror. "It's not a plan of mine, no," Joe said about continuing to create songs. If you're a serious Taylor Swift fan, your preferred version of the game Wordle is probably Taylordle, which has a similar concept but features only Taylor Swift-related words as the answers. It's the perfect crossover for fans of word games and pop culture. There's one key difference between the original game and its Taylor Swift counterpart, which is that the creators of Taylordle (the hosts of the "Holy Swift" podcast) recently expanded the game to include six-, seven-, and eight-letter words, in addition to the original five-letter-word format. That gives players many more words to guess from and gives the creators more flexibility to keep the game running. After all, as prolific as Swift is, even her brilliant lyrics can't provide us with five-letter words forever. If the new Taylordle addition has you stumped, here's a list of over 100 seven-letter words inspired by Swift's life and songs. Let's get guessing.

Attention, all Taylordle players! The "Holy Swift" podcast, aka the creators of Wordle (Taylor's Version), is expanding Taylordle's Swiftie-inspired dictionary to now include up to eight-letter words. There's no denying that Taylordle walked so other Wordle spinoffs, such as Wordlerry (created for Harry Style diehards) and BTS Wordle (for ARMYs stans), could run. Given the popularity of Wordle and the "All Too Well" singer's dedicated fan base, it's no surprise that Taylordle has had mass success since its March 2022 launch. Now fans have the opportunity to guess a variety of Swiftie terms, including six-letter words like "McGraw," "Juliet," "Archer," and "Willow."
Taylordle follows the same premise and color-coded rules as its predecessor: gray means the letter isn't included in the mystery word, yellow means the letter is in the word but not in the right spot, and green indicates the letter is in its correct spot. Players have six attempts to guess a Swiftie word.

Olivia Rodrigo would appear to be close to a shoo-in for several Grammys, but when it comes to what’s generally considered the most prestigious prize, album of the year, there’s a serious competitor packing heat, and he’s old enough to be her grandfather’s grandfather.
Rodrigo has a decent shot at winning the Grammys’ quadruple crown, for album, record, song and new artist of the year, just as another teen, Billie Eilish, did two years ago. Tony Bennett is the likeliest spoiler, however, of the 19-year-old’s shot at grabbing all the Grammy glory her first time out of the gate. It’s the 95-year-old legend’s last time in contention. His last recorded hurrah, a collaboration with Lady Gaga, wouldn’t exactly go down as the most au courant album winner ever, but it would prompt a lot of “awwwws” if it gives him one last...

Taylor Swift is a perennial favorite at the Grammy Awards. She's been nominated an impressive 42 times and has already taken home 11 trophies. At this point, we expect to see her pop up year in and year out to snag more awards. At last year's show, she won album of the year for "Folklore," her surprise drop in the middle of the Covid pandemic that certainly perked up her fans. At this year's show, her other surprise drop, "Evermore," is nominated for album of the year. But what fans are wondering is why her rereleased albums didn't score any nominations.
Swift has slowly been releasing her old music in the past couple years after losing her masters to Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings. To take control of her music, she decided to go into her back catalog and rerecord her early albums so she could own the masters of her re-recorded versions.

One of the top honors a musician can get from their industry peers is the Grammy for Album of the Year. Awarded to iconic albums throughout history like The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” Stevie Wonder’s “Innervisions,” Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours,” Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” and Adele’s “21,” the category is a way of preserving for posterity excellent albums that were the year’s best of the best. This year 10 albums are gunning for a chance to take the prestigious honor, but only one will ultimately be crowned as the Album of the Year.

“‘Where The Crawdads Sing’ is a book I got absolutely lost in when I read it years ago,” said Swift in her post. “As soon as I heard there was a film in the works starring the incredible Daisy Edgar-Jones and produced by the brilliant Reese Witherspoon, I knew I wanted to be a part of it from the musical side.” She wrote “Carolina” on her own and recruited Aaron Dessner to produce the recording. It seems that just about everybody is playing Wordle these days. The software engineer Josh Wardle created the puzzle game sometime last year for him and his partner to enjoy, but after sharing it with family members, he decided to make Wordle public in October. Since then, the game has attracted millions of players around the world, prompting the "New York Times" to acquire the game for a hefty price in January. Over the past few weeks, it's become so popular that fans have created their own versions of the game based on their favorite artists, TV shows, or films. For example, if you're a member of the BTS Army, you can play BTS Wordle, which includes words inspired by the K-pop group. Good news, Swifties: There's also a Taylor Swift version of Wordle called Taylordle.
Just like the original version, Taylordle requires players to correctly guess a five-letter word within six tries.

Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has had a busy two years. In August 2019, she released her album "Lover." The album's supporting tour, Lover Fest, was meant to start in summer 2020 and span across Europe, Brazil, and the US; however, it was canceled due to the global spread of Covid-19. Swift kept busy during the pandemic, rerecording her albums "Fearless" and "Red" and releasing her new original albums "Folklore" and "Evermore." Now that musical tours are picking back up, fans are wondering whether Taylor Swift will go on tour in 2022. Here's what we've gathered so far.
A History of Taylor Swift's Lover Fest
Lover Fest was canceled in April 2020, two months before the tour was scheduled to begin. Swift addressed fans on Twitter, saying, "I'm so sad I won't be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision. Please, please stay healthy and safe.

Now that we know the what, the when and the where of the 2022 Grammy Awards, the next question is the most fun: who? Who might be gracing the glamorous Grammy stage on the night of April 3?
While many in the industry seem to believe that holding the big show in Las Vegas will be a detriment to Grammy Week if not the show, there’s a lot more silver in that lining than might seem at first blush. As the omicron variant has caused yet another disruption to touring plans, Vegas residencies have become a very attractive touring-without-touring option for artists big enough to take that route, and hey, what do you know, both Adele and just-announced Silk Sonic will be performing Vegas residencies at the time the Grammys take place — and they both happen to have the night of April 3 off! The day before the 2022 Grammy Awards nominees were announced, representatives from the Recording Academy, which oversees the awards, began informing members of the media that the four top awards — the “Big Four” of Best Album, Song, Record and New Artist — would be expanded to ten from the previous eight. While the timing of the move was unusual, it was positioned by CEO Harvey Mason jr. as a long-discussed topic that, once they saw the large number of great nominees, presented “an incredible opportunity for us to honor more artists and shine a light on more great music, and potentially offer a greater opportunity for more genres of music to be honored,” he told Variety on Monday.
But late Wednesday, one day after the nominees were officially announced, the New York Times listed the artists and recordings that had been added to the big categories at the last minute, based on an earlier,...

The Recording Academy decided to expand the number of Grammy nominees just 24 hours before the list was announced on Tuesday — to the benefit of artists including Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Abba and Lil Nas X — according to a report in the New York Times.
The move, which saw the list of nominees in the top four general categories grow from eight nominees to 10, was positioned as a natural progression by CEO Harvey Mason jr. when asked about it by Variety on Monday. “We saw it as an incredible opportunity for us to honor more artists and shine a light on more great music, and potentially offer a greater opportunity for more genres of music to be honored,” he said.
As for the abruptness of the move, “It’s something that we’ve talked about for quite some time but it ended up happening fairly recently,” he said. “We looked at...

The Weeknd is so good that he can earn Grammy nominations without even trying … literally. He vowed never to submit his music for Grammy consideration again after his shocking shutout from the nominations last year. But he nevertheless picked up three bids when the 2022 nominations were announced on November 23. How did that happen?
The answer is pretty simple. While The Weeknd declined to submit his own music for consideration, that didn’t stop other artists from submitting their collaborations with him. And that’s where all three of his nominations came from. He’s up for Best Melodic Rap Performance for Kanye West‘s “Hurricane.” That song’s parent album, “Donda,” received an Album of the Year bid, so The Weeknd is nominated there as well as a featured artist. And he has one more Album of the Year nomination as a featured artist on Doja Cat‘s “Planet Her.

If you’d asked before Grammy nominations morning who the top contender would be, few would have guessed Jon Batiste would rack up a leading 11 bids across categories in myriad genres. But he did indeed dominate the field, from Album of the Year (“We Are”) all the way down to Best Improvised Jazz Solo (“Bigger Than Us”). Check out the list of Grammy nominations here.
A recent Oscar winner for composing the “Soul” score with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (for which they’re also nominated here), Batiste’s nominations this year also include Record of the Year (“Freedom”), Best Traditional R&b Performance (“I Need You”), Best R&b Album (“We Are”), Best Jazz Instrumental Album (“Jazz Selections: Music from and Inspired by Soul”), Best American Roots Performance (“Cry”), Best American Roots Song (“Cry”), Best Contemporary Classical Composition (“Batiste: Movement 11”), and Best Music Video (“Freedom”) — whew! Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo are among the artists who will compete for major awards at the 64th Grammy Awards, taking place on Jan. 31, 2022.
This year’s nominees were led by Jon Batiste, the jazz musician and Late Show bandleader, who picked up 11 nominations for both his solo album, We Are, and his work on the soundtrack for Pixar’s Soul. Bieber, Doja Cat, and H.E.R. tied for the second-most nominations, with eight each, while Eilish and Rodrigo notched seven. Brandi Carlile, Kanye West, and Lil Nas X also picked up multiple nominations.

The Grammy Awards have launched a different procedure for selecting their nominees this year — going with a popular vote and eliminating the controversial “secret committees” that had curated the final lists in recent decades — and although many of the top nominees were expected, the top one definitely was not.
Jon Batiste — veteran jazz keyboardist, musical director of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” and a member of one of New Orleans’ legendary musical dynasties — leads the nominees with 11, mostly for his “We Are” album, but also for his “Soul” film score. While “We Are” peaked at just No. 86 on the Billboard 200, its huge number of nominations speak to its multi-genre appeal, his familiarity to Academy voters via “Colbert” (and a cosign from Grammy legend Quincy Jones), and most of all his musicianship.
Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and H.E.R. follow with eight nominations each, and Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo are close behind with seven.

There were major changes in how these nominees were decided. Chief among those was the elimination of the nomination review committees. For decades those committees would take the top 15 or 20 vote-getters in their categories and decide which would be the final nominees. Those secret, anonymous panels often produced surprising results: this past year The Weeknd was shut out entirely. He decided to boycott the awards, joining in a chorus of music stars who have criticized the voting process. Some of the criticisms even came from inside the house,...

BTS were the big winners at the 2021 American Music Awards, prevailing in all three of their categories: Favorite Pop Duo or Group, Favorite Pop Song for “Butter,” and Artist of the Year. In the top category, they defeated Taylor Swift, who had won that award six times before, including the last three in a row. In fact, this is only the second time Swift has ever lost when nominated. She was previously defeated by One Direction in 2015. Check out the complete list of winners here.
But don’t feel too bad, Swifties. Taylor still won twice at these fan-voted kudos: Favorite Female Pop Artist and Favorite Pop Album for “Evermore.” Those were her 33rd and 34th career victories, extending her record as the most honored artist in AMAs history.

Pop is always a stacked genre, but the race this year at the American Music Awards might be stronger than ever. Everyone — from big established artists like Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and The Weeknd, to newer artists like Olivia Rodrigo and Doja Cat — is on the hunt to pick up one or two awards to add to their shelves. Let’s consider who’s most likely to prevail.
Favorite Male Pop Artist
A win for Justin Bieber is more than likely here. Not only does he have a big fan base, he has also had one of his strongest years ever thanks to the success of his album “Justice” and the number-one singles “Peaches” and “Stay.” If an upset happens, it could be Lil Nas X, who has also had a successful year with his own hit album “Montero” and number-one singles “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” and “Industry Baby.

For the first time in Grammy history, the race to accrue nominations and ultimately the final contest itself may come down to a battle of the teenaged girls. Olivia Rodrigo, a newcomer at 18, and Billie Eilish, veritably a veteran now at 19, are the leading contenders to pick up multiple nods when the nominees for the 2022 Grammy Awards are announced Nov. 23. Yes, Eilish, whose birthday is Dec. 18, will officially have graduated out of her teens by the time the ceremony takes place Jan. 23, but it’ll still be a prodigy-vs.-prodigy contest in which we can be assured that not many elder voters will be holding their preternaturally talented superstars’ youth against them.
Rodrigo and Eilish may be the only two stars who can be considered 100% locks to be nominated in the top three categories — album, record and song of the year — but the odds also favor Taylor Swift and Lil Nas X...

It’s been almost six months since Taylor Swift topped the Billboard 200 albums chart with “Fearless (Taylor’s Version),” the re-recorded edition of her Grammy-winning blockbuster. But she shot back to the top for the tracking week that ended on October 7, 2021. That’s because, even in an era of streaming driving a lot of chart success, Swift remains the queen of sales. Read more here at Billboard.
“Fearless” jumped 156 spots back to its number-one perch thanks to the release of its vinyl edition as well as signed CDs in Swift’s own merchandise store. It achieved 152,000 equivalent album units, of which traditional sales accounted for 146,000. Streaming only added up to about 6,000 units. That brings this version of “Fearless” to a total of 400,000 in total sales, which makes it the second biggest seller of 2021. It’s behind Swift’s own “Evermore,” which has sold 434,000 copies. The long-awaited release of Lil Nas X‘s debut studio album “Montero” brought him to number-two on the Billboard 200, put three of his singles in the top-10 on the Hot 100, and elicited mostly glowing reviews. But that’s not all it did. It also gave him a boost in our Grammy odds for Album of the Year, moving him slightly ahead of defending champ Taylor Swift‘s “Evermore” for third place, though he’s still trailing a couple of teenagers: front-runner Olivia Rodrigo (“Sour“) and another past winner, Billie Eilish (“Happier Than Ever“).
As of this writing Nas has 14/1 odds based on the combined predictions of almost 2,000 of our users thus far. Though Nas’s 2019 EP “7” earned a surprise Grammy nomination for Album of the Year, it received mixed reviews, so we couldn’t be sure what the 22-year-old would deliver with his full collection, but the album has an overwhelmingly positive 85 score on MetaCritic.
