Is O.J. Innocent? The Missing Evidence (2017)
Episode 1: New Evidence
Martin Sheen narrates this new series, which throws out the idea that O.J. Simpson was really innocent and that someone else might have committed the double murders. This first episode has us introduced to the man who has been working on the case and feels that he has uncovered new evidence, which shows someone else committed the crimes. We're also introduced to a couple former cops who are going to look at the evidence and give their opinions on it.
Once again we're treated to yet another Simpson documentary. I will freely admit taht I'm a Simpson junkie and will pretty much watch anything that involved him and this notorious case. With THE PEOPLE VS O.J. SIMPSON and O.J. MADE IN AMERICA, it turned out to be a very big year for him and not to mention he was also released from jail.
This first episode is certainly an interesting one as we start off with interviews with the victim's families but I will admit that I was disappointed that neither Ron Goldman or Tanya Brown weren't asked their thoughts on the new evidence and what it could mean. With that said, the new evidence itself is quite interesting and obviously this first episode was meant to build your interest with the bigger bomb shells and answers coming in later episodes. With that said, there's no question that this was an interesting start to the series and it's good enough to make you want to move forward with the others.
