Not a bad episode. Very similar to most weddings on drama shows. And yes they seem to have too much Jack in it. I think it is beautiful that he is always with them but sometimes, like in this episode, it seems like he is haunting them and they are forever damaged. I mean pretty much all speech of Kevin was Jack related, this at Kate's wedding 20 years after Jack's death. Well what I liked though were the previews for the next season. It seems that Kevin is going to Vietnam and this could be interesting. As we know Jack's dad died there. Also let's see how things will go with Deja after this

Best thing that happened to television

Beautiful mesmerising perfect. This show just surprises me more and more with such beautiful character development , music and what not. Certainly hats off to the creator Dan Fogelman for creating such a masterpiece that always brings tears in the eyes of the viewers be it happy or sad. This episode was one of the best season finale ever written

Kate's imagination

This had promise but Kate's flashes of the imaginary anniversary party for Bec and Jack...just plain silly. I do however appreciate the humor in Randall's what if worse scenarios....and suddenly the change in Deja...I get why...but still annoying.

New writers?

Finally finished season 2, good one literally. Mainly we came to know about Jack death which I waited for season one. But after his death my interest from this show is little by decrease why don't known why but still it is good.

Uncomfortable

I've always hated weddings on drama series. I'm sure the reason for the high average score is that people always gravitate toward them. There are so many things going on. First of all, once again, Kevin and Randall are all twisted up. Kate is having dreams about her parents, still alive and renewing their vows, and Deja is wandering around, filled with fury. Her mother is now officially rid of her and she can't reconcile that. That is the real point of interest in the story. The parking lot thing at the end is a bit dramatic. It is worthy of a lot of discussion, certainly. She strikes out at the people who saved her, on the one hand, but probably sees them as the ones who stole her from her mother. It is a narrative hook, certainly, to carry us into Season 3.

I also thought that the toasts were awful. They were toasting a father who died 20 years earlier. Granted, it was a tragic death, and he was a nice guy, but for him to permeate this day, making Kate truly secondary, seemed really weird.

OMFG. I am done with this cheap, poorly written mess.

Seriously? WTF was this? Actually, I feel the same about most of season 2. Just absolutely ridiculous. I loved season 1, but season 2 was almost unwatchable. I pushed through hoping it would improve and it didn't. It was a huge let-down.

Jack died. We get it. Now let the darn man rest in peace for God's sake! Seriously! What is the point of this?! And, the worst part is, they will supposedly have even more of this in season 3. And why? I just don't get it.

Now that we finally experienced the BIG REVEAL of Jack's death, we now move on to new tragedy. Yay.

This show has a crazy and super weird obsession with death that is just getting out of hand.

It doesn't look like this will let up, either. The "twist" at the end gives me a few theories, which are as follows:

• Toby is depressed because one of his parents has died.
• Tess is afraid to confront her mother, Beth, because she is dying.
• If not these, perhaps we will see the death of Rebecca.

If these theories ARE true, what is season 3 going to be about? "Oh, we're sorry, Tess, but the death of ____ is too much for us to handle."

And seriously. Jack died how long ago? And these people still don't shut the hell up about it? I've last many people in my life. And let me tell you this: life goes on. Death is natural. But this is just absurd.

I will not be watching season 3. And the people who think this is good writing will be glad that I am gone.

As terrible as an episode can be; not to mention corny

This show resembles real life as closely as any supernatural show does, only less believable. The old Jack scenes were the corniest scenes ever put on TV and Kate looking like Moby on her wedding day was disturbing to watch. The two ridiculous brothers on their moronic mission was cringe inducing!!!! Suffice to say I'm done with this abomination of a show. I just can't fathom how people find this entertaining.

Another Amazing Finale !!!

This Finale For This Season Was Everything Unexpected !! But Great Because That's What Makes This is us An Amazing Show !!! To Keep People Questioning !!! Which is Also Great Because When You Question What's Going To Happen The Show Twists it !! Which is Why I Stopped Because I Now Know The Twists Are Going To Happen So I Just Let it Surprise Me instead !!

The wedding toast?!

Now that this series is on Netflix I'm watching to see what all the hype was about. I'll write a review for the entire series when I'm done with all 6 seasons, but I couldn't NOT write one for this episode because WTH?! That toast by Kevin... Did he really make it all about the dead dad on his sister's wedding day. And it's not like the dad died 20 days before the wedding, he died 20 YEARS prior and he's making the toast all about the dad so many years later??

Since I have 100+ words left before this lets me finish, I'll mention Kate's dream. Dreaming about your parents' vow renewal ceremony, when one parent has been dead for 20 years and the other is remarried, is just weird!
