For me, it's a heart touching movie!

Seriously i don't have any word to explain how good is it ! The script, cinematography, sound , video editing, realistic vibe all are impressive. Just watch it. The emotion level was extreme. If you really want to watch a pure dramatical movie then my suggest is go and watch it . By the way you can find it on 'HoiChoi'. If you tell me explain it with three sentence then i would say "It was Masterpeice". If i say about it's director- 'A true director could give us an outstanding emotional attachment with his creation '. This movie deserve Oscar but unfortunately it can't but hat's off the team members.

Overall must watch movie.

soul-stirring movie

Absolutely a stunning work of art directed with profound simplicity after a very long time. The film has succeeded in capturing the subtle emotional bond between characters; their innocence and helplessness well portrayed. This is "A story which reflects the world beyond our cities and drawing room". Hats off to the team members.

Best Bengali movie of the decade

Pros: 1. Acting and innocence of Chotu and Gopal. 2. Story of Bibhutibhusan. 3. Cinematography. 4. Portrayal of rural Bengal and its seasons. 5. Two dream sequences. The first one was really eerie.

Cons: 1. Not meant for general Bengali/Indian audience who liked Dev/Bhai.

Absolutely beautiful work, transparent portrayal of the rural bengal. This is how a script, cinematography, acting, sound, editing, direction should be. Stunning film, extremely emotional, not recommended for the audiences who always prefers to keep their brain at home and come to the theatres just to relax, because you won't find fake glamour, loud music and dancing and an irrelevant script here.

This film reminds me of the world popular movie Pather Panchali by Satyajit Ray.

The innocence of the two brothers and the character that they have portrayed is so mature that they could even give well known actors a run for their money.

World-class direction.

What a art. I fall in love with this movie. My tears came out after this movie. Our old culture and instantiation can demonstrate which we are today. We should never forget our culture and humanity and "Donate to the poor". It's sound bad for some people but its true "Donate to the poor" each and every person had a past. We should remember this, I specially thanks to Bibhuti Bhusan Bandyopadhyay. He is no more today but his words are still alive in our heart.
