The props department created over a dozen fictional record covers for Georgie's crate. Album titles included: "Anarchy Debutantes," "Best of T-Shep and the Hot Dogs," and "Sensuesque."
Inspiration for Georgie's aesthetic was taken from someone who is usually behind the camera. Her glasses are based on the ones worn by on-set photographer Gene Page.
When Rick and Negan enters the basement, there is a graffiti "Abandon all hope, ye who enters here". This is a citation of Dante Alighieri's 14th century epic poem "Divine comedy", in particular its first part called "Hell" (the other two are in order "Purgatory" and "Heaven"). Dante, accompanied by Latin poet Virgil, sees an inscription right after passing the gate of hell. Its last phrase is the same as the graffiti seen in the basement.
