The most depressing episode. Overall it's a good episode but Not much at all happens and it's a pretty boring episode. It has a very slow pace. This episode kind of brings back a season 4 vibe. The later seasons of the walking dead are terrible.

Another lukewarm episode, but it is an improvement from 8A.

a boring episode, with more nonsense and a slow pace
MomentIMDB9 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The episode shows daryl and the others going to alexandria, gabriel and dr carson, the sanctuary and hiltop. Like the sixth episode, this one has several plots but both are boring and do not take advantage of the time. good points: daryl and rosita have a good attitude and put aside killing dwight. Tara vs. Dwight I liked it a lot and I liked the development that Tara had. the best part of the episode was when daryl and the others arrive at hiltop and say that carl is dead bad points: the part of morgan, henry and carol was unrealistic. Carol asks Morgan not to tell Henry who killed his brother and accepts him, why? Morgan hates Jared, why doesn't he kill him? Gabriel is somewhat blind, a problem deux machina. Gabriel's luck was very unrealistic and in the end he is trapped, so it didn't help.

Neither alive or dead
TheLittleSongbird23 April 2022
Most of the first half of Season 8 was very poor, with two exceptions, and also wasn't crazy about the season overall (too many problems and bad episodes). "The Lost and the Plunderers", the previous episode, was a big surprise and was a very well done episode, one of the few above average ones of the season. Showing that the show's quality hadn't completely gone and that it could be good when they tried.

"Dead or Alive Or" for me was a difficult episode to rate and review. There are things that it does well, but there are also some glaring and difficult to ignore problems. It is a long way from being one of the worst episodes of Season 8 (if anything for all its problems it's one of the least bad) or of 'The Walking Dead', but the show showed brilliance frequently and "Dead or Alive Or" was an episode that sometimes remembered what made the show so great at its best and at other points forgot. Odd.

Am going to start with the good. The production values does have atmosphere, especially the scenery and the way the episode is lit. The music is ominous. The script has some tight and thought provoking moments. The acting is very good all round.

Did appreciate the effort in giving more development to the more minor characters of 'The Walking Dead', although the success varied. Actually thought that "Dead or Alive Or" was at its best in the reaction to Carl's death at the Hilltop and surprisingly the Dwight and Tara subplot, those two characters are not my favourites but did appreciate Tara's development here and it was done well and not in a soap-operatic way. The Saviors scenes had some tension.

There are other parts of the story where "Dead or Alive Or" doesn't fare so well. The Carol, Morgan and Henry subplot is too soapy and also has some unrealistic decision making. Faring worse is everything with Father Gabriel, a subplot that goes on and on with not much eventful and full of too wordy and heavy-handed dialogue. Eugene's presence was pointless and he is still annoying.

Pacing isn't perfect either, with a tendency to be too slow, especially with Father Gabriel, and it generally lacks suspense other than with the Saviors. The dialogue really could have done with a tightening up, while the editing is sloppy and like it was trying to show off with no regard for pace.

In conclusion, a bit mixed here. 6/10.

So What Did We Learn Tonight?
sevenlilxenos14 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
As Daryl and Rosy attempt to get the Alexandria survivors to the Hilltop Tara decides to go rogue. I can't remember the last time so many people were calling for the death of someone in Rick's group. The closest would prolly be Shane as Merle never was really a core member. Swamp Walkers were cool as they keep finding new ways for Walkers to exist with no brain activity to speak of.

Tara just doesn't get it and wants to put her needs "it will make ME feel better" above the safety of the group. We get it, double agent Iron Face Dwight killed your girlfriend of all of 1 month.

Why do some shows insist on having the one odd ball chick? Shes really smart but dresses goth, She really knows her way around a computer but has the fashion sense of Peter Max. Its like TWD is placating some unspoken over inclusive diversity agenda. I mean what does unreasonably overweight, given starving conditions, Tara really bring to the table other than a nice pair of fun bags?

Gab and Doc are coupled and the writers just can't resist the old religion vs science shtick. It was like watching the blind lead the blind (well deaf). BTW, when did we ever see bears on TWD, bear traps?

Meanwhile at Camp Maggie food is low and frustration is high. What pissed me off the most was Morgan lying (co-signed by Carol) to the lil Ninja about who killed his brother. This lil guy has the potential to be a very interesting killer kid. Let him off the chain, train him in covert Ninja Midget Mayhem. Maybe send him up to Negan crying and then he could whip out a shank and go to town.

Just please tell me there won't be a love interest between Mags and the survivor prisoner who wants to get some exercise.

Negan gives Eugene his own crew complete with the hot red head and wine so the saviors can replenish their dwindling bullet supply. If Eugene was ever going to shoot a move like Dwight, who is now back with Negan's group thanks to Tara, the time is coming.

I love the idea of catapulting Walker parts and guts over the walls protecting Camp Maggie. Hopefully that tall douche prisoner and Gregory both get splattered right in the face and mouth.

Overall not too bad but still felt like alot of filler 6.5

How Can We Lose
ThomasDrufke12 March 2018
This felt like a throwback episode of The Walking Dead. A few different storylines, a few roadtrips, and being low on food and resources always on characters minds. It very much seemed like an episode straight out of season 4 or 5. And to be honest, I liked seeing some of the characters on their toes and not sitting pretty in Alexandria. My favorite moments of this show's history may be in season 4 & 5 when the team was scavenging on a day to day basis for food and water.

Tonight's show made the decision to deal a lot with faith and Father Gabriel's renewed belief in god. The arc his character has gone on throughout the show's run is sporadically interesting. Sometimes fascinating, sometimes frustrating, and other times contradicting. But Seth Gilliam had one of his best weeks in awhile, along with his on screen counterpart, R. Keith Harris' Dr. Carson. Conveniently enough, Carson's death now seems pointless as it's revealed Siddiq has experience working in the medical field.

The other big side arc came from the Alexandrians' hike to Hilltop through the swamp. It was serviceable screen time, but there was no need for the hugely frustrating material with Tara and Dwight. We get it, nobody likes Dwight and he's done terrible things to people the Alexandrians love. But stop going against everything Carl was standing for and stand down. I just feel like it's so unnecessary and a complete waste of time to have Tara go on a rampage to kill Dwight.

In fact, this whole inner mental game she was going through was the clear standout for painful writing this week. Maggie's scenes with the Savior's prisoners and Gabriel's faithful trek both seemed fitting. That wasn't the case for Tara. I sure hope next week solves the Tara situation, as it will clearly focus on the aftermath of everyone at Hilltop learning of Carl's death as the team finally comes together as one.

Back on Track
claudio_carvalho17 March 2018
Daryl leads the Alexandria´s survivors to Hilltop through a swamp. While he goes with Rosita, Siddiq and a few other Alexandrians to destroy walkers to give free passage to the other survivors, Tara stays with Dwight protecting them. However Tara wants to kill Dwight jeopardizing the group. Meanwhile Gabriel and Dr. Carson are fleeing from the Saviors and Gabriel is becoming blind, testing his faith in god. In Hilltop, Maggie needs to ration the limited supplies among the locals and the prisoners. Eugene gives an idea to Negan to defeat Hilltop.

"Dead or Alive Or" is another great episode of "The Walking Dead" that seems to be back on track after the awful beginning of the season. Daryl´s segment is tense with the walkers and the friction of Tara with Dwight. Gabriel and Dr. Carlson is also a good segment. Eugene is probably the most despicable character of this series and together with the psychopath Negan make the Saviors dangerous. In Hilltop. Maggie is doing OK with her tough but fair attitudes. My vote is eight.

Worth the watch...
billyllewis23 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Worth watching just to see the look on Maggie's face when she learns Saddiq has medical experience. We all wondered why Carl was killed off and expected the young man to be going off to college in the real world or literally something else but later found out it was simply the writers decision. Carl's grave started the decline of one of my all-time favorite series yet I will watch the rest of season 11...eventually.

I struggled to make it through this episode without dozing off. Season 8 has been slow (despite the "action"), and this episode comes in as one of the slowest. Although it's not as stupid as some episodes have been, it's the most boring by far, spending most of its time with characters we don't care about and themes that have recycled more times than I can count.

Gabriel has a crisis of faith. You know, the usual story, when things go wrong do you continue to believe it's all part of God's plan or does it destroy your faith? He has his faith tested by multiple events. This theme has been explored with Gabriel in the past so why do the writers feel the need to return to it again? It is a character arc that has already been in previous seasons, yet it's repeated here probably because the writers don't have any new ideas.

The same applies to everything else. Maggie faces up to the moral issue of what to do with prisoners while Tara, Rosita and Daryl squabble over what to do with Dwight. Again, none of this is new territory. The issue has been explored several times this season, and really throughout this show's history ever since Season 2's "Judge, Jury, Executioner". The writers keep coming back to it because they have no other ideas.

What makes it worse is that there are now so many characters that you just don't care about any of it. The guy who was with Gabriel, whose name I can't even remember- why should I care about him? Why should I care about the dozens of characters who are with Tara, Rosita and Daryl? Why should I care what happens to Maggie's prisoners? Whenever any of these characters are put at risk, there's no tension because they're so clearly just side characters, with little to no personality, to be dispensed with whenever the story wishes. When the main characters like Tara, Daryl and Maggie are under threat there's no tension either because you just know they're going to make it.

Even the main actors playing Tara, Daryl and Maggie seem to have given up, giving lifeless performances that do the precise opposite of bringing their characters to life. It's like they know full well how lame this show is and don't want to be there. I can relate.

There's one good thing about this episode, Negan's new plan to cover weapons in Walker guts. If Scott Gimple doesn't screw this up, it could actually lead to genuinely exciting and suspenseful results.

Season 8 of Days of our Walking Dead lives, but with artistic pretention, continues...
johnelkaz14 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
It should be a privilege to be able to work with such a cast and excellent material. It's a simple story and it works - in the comic, but not on screen, not anymore. I blame the producers and the writers, as well as those mindless fans who turn a show into their private fetish of idolization and accept any standard as long as their show continues to be aired. It ceases being a show to them, but like the mentality that follows shows like 'Days of Our Lives' it becomes an obsession about what will happen to their favorite characters and nothing more than a superficial, trivial pursuit of mindless curiosity and habit. Substance goes out the window, content dilutes, action gets blurred and deviates from character. Tension mounts and then splatters out like a pricked balloon, misplaced in sequence, deliberately complicated to contrive the effect of tension but instead it creates frustration and sabotages the very effect it tries to emphasize. Just about every rule of intelligent and balanced writing is being broken now. All sense of timing has been lost. Over-use of slow motion, then jumping back and forward, pointlessly intrusive and unnecessary. The slowest season ever was season 2, yet that was a masterpiece season compared to how the show is being directed, edited, written and produced now. There was logic and reason to the slowness of any part of past seasons, but now there is none, save the feeling that it is deliberately being stretched out and used as a canvas for indulgent artistic pretension. It feels tired, over-thought, over-scripted, lacking punch, efficiency, economy of specch and effectiveness.

I am an angry fan who loved this show, who wants to continue to love it but is not allowed to.

Working on a show like this should be a sacred privilege dedicated to the spirit of the writing. The writers should pay more respect to Kirkman in terms of all those things that are now lacking and return it to it's straightforward grittiness and realism, which doesn't mean killing off pivotal characters simply to be different to the comic. There are endless ways to change the stories so they don't overlap and can explore different situations, but when you make the mistake of killing off one of the main characters who embodies the true spirit and is arguably the driving force of the show (Carl), you better make sure that the show remains focused, snappy and efficient everywhere else, or else it truly becomes a walking corpse.

All writers get tired, and God knows they will be asked to churn out script after script even if they are not up to it, hence the responsibility to pass the reigns over to someone who is. But what are the editor and the producer doing to make sure the show doesn't drop off? Maybe it's time to hire new people who will respect the spirit of this work the way it should be.

I am also angry at Kirkman for allowing this drop in quality to happen.

I advise any people who loved this show up until the end of season 6 to switch to the comic and abandon this awfully produced soap-opera (which is what it has become), and support the real thing.

Oh, and the six stars are for the acting and the special effects, both of which have been exemplary all throughout.

Needs More Carol & Daryl
NandorTheRelentless16 March 2018
This show has been missing the mark lately (with the exception of the previous episode). It's not so much of an "all out war" but rather slow dialogue and little plot progression. There simply needs to be more of the excitement that made the show popular in the first place.

Really 8.7/10 but that's not an option.
mpw-2350613 March 2018
Pretty good episode. 8B is already pounds better than 8A so that's a plus. The Gabriel stuff was kind of silly but still entertaining to watch. Most of the episode felt like the plot was progressing which was good, although I found most progression at the very end. I'm happy that they did not use any of those godawful zoom in shots from the last episode because they really do not look good. My only complaints were the swamp sequenced did feel a little bit standstill until they finally got to Hilltop and the Dwight/Tara stuff happened. Speaking of Tara, she is the worst. I get that Dwight did some screwed up stuff to the people of Alexandria, but he would be much better alive. Negan again stole all of his scenes, but at this point I'm not surprised. I think that dipping Lucille in guts is just the start, and they're gonna be doing a lot more. Overall, 8.7/10

"Dead or Alive Or" focuses on Father Gabriel and Dr. Carson as they navigate the dangers of the post-apocalyptic world in their quest to find safety
fernandoschiavi24 March 2024
Dr. Harlan Carson and Gabriel have escaped the Sanctuary, with help from Eugene. They make their way through a wooded area, while Gabriel's eyesight deteriorates from his worsening infection. Gabriel follows what he considers divine guidance, and what Dr. Carson considers a hunch, leading them to a cottage that yields a supply of life-saving antibiotics.

As Gabriel and Carson's journey continues, they are found by a Savior scouting expedition. Carson, in a rare moment of confidence, attempts to escape, and is immediately shot dead. Gabriel is heartbroken and lost. His belief that God had given him a specific mission to accomplish is destroyed. He finds himself taken to Eugene's bullet factory, where he is forced to go to work sorting shell casings

Meanwhile, Daryl leads the remaining survivors from Alexandria to the Hilltop. Dwight provides assistance, showing them a route through a nearby swamp that the Saviors have always considered too dangerous to use for travel. As the group works on clearing out floating Walkers, Tara takes advantage of this as an opportunity to get Dwight alone. Still feeling vengeful because of Denise's death, she plans to kill Dwight. Before she can carry out her plan, a group of Saviors appears. Dwight rushes out of the brush and joins them, pretending that he was simply hiding after an earlier ambush on his group. The other Saviors don't know of his Betrayal of Negan, and so welcome him back into the fold. Still, Dwight carefully doesn't reveal the presence of the Alexandrians, which causes Tara to reconsider her earlier opinion of him.

Daryl is furious when he discovers that Dwight has left the group, but he quickly gets past it, and continues to lead the group to the Hilltop. There, they meet up with Maggie, Carol, Enid, and others. Everyone at the Hilltop now learns of Carl's death.

Stopping by Eugene's bullet works, Negan is disappointed by the slow production speed. After a conversation with Eugene, however, Negan has a brainstorm. He soon reveals to the Saviors a new battle plan: coat all of their hand-held weapons with Walker blood and guts, then go to the Hilltop and make the community "join the team". Soon his enemies will be infected by the Walker virus, and Negan will be victorious.

"Dead or Alive Or" focuses on Father Gabriel and Dr. Carson as they navigate the dangers of the post-apocalyptic world in their quest to find safety. The episode explores themes of faith, redemption, and the lengths people will go to survive. Gabriel's struggle with his faith is a central theme, as he grapples with the question of whether God has a plan for him in this new world.

"Dead or Alive Or" is a tense and suspenseful episode that showcases the individual struggles of its characters in the face of overwhelming odds. It sets the stage for the final episodes of the season, which promise to be filled with even more twists and turns as the survivors continue to fight for their lives and their future.

slow and boring
alllieemcm14 March 2018
The walking dead was in times such a good show, that would make you ansious to see the next episode, now everything is so slow and boring and i don't see the point in so many things.

i just feel like if most of them die, we wouldn't miss them. Still, like Tara, she should be one of the first to go but instead they kill Carl that although wasn't doing THAT much, was still just a good character with so MUCH potential. I mean he died for a really good thing that i also tought would make things better, especially because of their next threat, but they kill him because i bet that they wanted to "spiced" things up.

now, can they just kill tara; because i really dont like her, she doesnt bring nothing to the show.

maybe is just me but if Maggie died, i wouldnt miss a inch of her just like i didnt miss glenn, and did i miss her accent in the previous seasons or is stronger out of nowhere?

There was a time that i would care but now i can see most of them die and just laugh of it.

Or maybe i just been watching too much GoT.

Warning: Spoilers
Average terrible twd episode but at least not to a level where it is insulting to watch. At The Hilltop, Henry wants to know who killed his brother. Morgan says to Carol that they should tell him but Carol's counter argument is he is just a child. They are in the middle of a war and it is also maybe possibly also a zombie apocalypse so staying a child is the last thing you want.

The group from the sewers start heading towards The Hilltop. I'm pissed off because for the 100th time, there was a singular walker and Darnell aimed his bow at it but ***k*n* Rosita wastes a bullet instead. This happens too often. Dwight tells Daryl that they can head through the swamps because The Saviors won't be there. While Darnell and some other peasants clear the swamp for the peasants who can't even fight, Tara takes Dwight to go unnecessarily kill some walkers. Tara pulls a gun on Dwight because he accidentally killed her girlfriend 2 seasons ago and chases him through the woods. She catches up to him but some Saviors were conveniently on patrol so they hide in the bushes. Dwight comes out and pretends to be on their side. One of the Saviors tells Dwight that conveniently, Laura, the Savior captain that witnessed Dwight's betrayal has not been found so nobody knows about his betrayal. Tara realizes that Dwight is, not kill worthy?, because he told them there is nobody in the swamps. The group makes their way to The Hilltop and NHO! That characters learn about Cooral's deith.

Gabriel and Doctor Carson escape The Sanctuary, blah blah blah, they're stranded in a house and Gabriel is going blind. But don't worry, because he accidentally knocks over a piggy bank that has car keys, and a map inside of it! They head outside and nearly blinded Gabriel can read a sign that says danger on it that the Doctor couldn't see. Gabriel warns the Doctor but it is too late and he steps on a bear trap. This was hilariously stupid. Yes, some person set up a trap to catch intruders but then put up a sign to warn them. But don't worry about this meaningless character guys, because most of the walkers get trapped in the rest of the traps that Gabriel somehow navigates and the 2 harmless people, one blind, and the other on the ground with an ankle stuck in a trap manage to fend off the other walkers. They head to the car but just as they are about to leave some Saviors conveniently arrive to take them back to The Sanctuary. The intelligent Doctor tries to take the gun from one of The Saviors and gets killed. Aw shucks. Their half an episode of meaningless adventure time has come to a close.

And pretty much the only good scene in the episode, Eugene is in his new bullet manufacturing station and a woman comes up to flirt with Eugene but Eugenius tells her to go makes him eggs with a tomato.

So this episode was pretty much just a couple of stupid story lines and a lot of luck.

It can always get worse.
jabandrade12 March 2018
Every week worse. Boredom and lack of ideas sink the series mercilessly. And from what I know of this show, they will drag this season until episode 15, when they will prepare the audience for ep. 16, the 'grand finale'. The pattern never changes. That's all this series has to offer these days: the first two episodes and the last two of each season. In the midst of it, complete boredom. And an interesting thing is that now the fan club meets to give 10.0 in mass, to guarantee a high rate to the episode, even if that is absolutely fake. Well, just this way . But exempt fans don't need it. Who do they think they cheat?

Getting Better
dmenzie12 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
While I am seeing many negative reviews still...you have to admit the last two episodes have improved some. Sine Glenn and Abraham got whacked by Neegan the show has been in a downward spiral. I think the last two episodes are bringing the show back to life a bit no pun intended. Hopefully, they continue on this path and end the "All out War" with a strong finish. Actually, glad Carl is gone his character was getting annoying please get rid of Tara next!!! On the right track 8 out of 10 is fair considering how bad the last season and half has been...

The Walking Turd, Zombies, Contrivances, Religion vs Science, Faith vs Fate, Boring Soap Opera Lingers
Bababooe12 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Ok, sadly not too much to laugh at in this episode. But it was a good set up for Gabriel. Gabe looked like he was winning the religious wars, until his buddy The Doctor got killed. That was comedy beyond belief. I know, you have to have a twisted heart to laugh at this poor fool who thought all was going so well. Finding a house, finding medicine, finding the car keys in that stupid piggy bank (Giant Pink Pig Piggy Bank - who writes this stuff). What luck. Or is it God. But then God takes it all away by killing his new buddy The Doc is dead, and Gabe can't believe that God would do that. What a moron. I'm just sticking around to see what else these writers have on us unsuspecting viewers.

Ok, so Gabe and the Doc are lost, Gabe is sick, theyh find a house with medicine and keys to a car, Doc gets his leg stuck in a bear trap and zombies are on him, Gabe losing his sight, closes his eyes and miraculously shoots the zombie, saving Doc. Miracle! Yay! Let's just sit and enjoy all this. Then, they're about to take off in the car, when they're caught by the Saviors. Can you believe it? Doc goes for the saviors gun and gets killed. Mr Gabe was so confident, now he can't believe that God would allow Doc to die. This is comedy. Please laugh. Or cry, because we have to sit through this nonsense. I'd like to know exactly who came up with this dumb ass idea.

Alright, next, we get Darryl, Rosita, Tara with the Children of Alexandria going to the promised land (Hilltop), along with Dwight. They clear a bunch of swamp zombies. Ok. Tara tries to kill Dwight. Dwight gets away and leads Saviors away from the Alexandrians. Now, Tara trusts Dwight. Oh yeah, the Soap Opera continues. I predict that Dwight will eventually hook up with Tara. Why? Why the hell not. I mean it's all make believe right. Anything could happen. Just because.

Now, Alexandrians are at Hilltop, silence as Darryl mouths CORAL. CORAL. Tears. More soap opera. Oh my god. What is going on? It can't be.

Saviors - Neeg sets Eugene up with a bullet factory job. All we want is Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. And he puts Gabe to help. Dwight shows up as well.

Most of this episode was boring, mediocre, and contrived. But at least we got some zombies.

Here's some character flaws: 1, Maggie just blew away one of the saviors, because the guy gave her attitude & she wanted to send a message to Neeg, and that she had 38 more prisoners. Then she lets the prisoners out two at a time for work and exercise, like it's a freaking day care, or juvenile detention center. Maybe, just maybe, if you're willing to kill these people, you don't want them roaming around, and humanize them. They are more dangerous now, because they know they'll get killed. Maggie is a loser. Just like Rick. Best thing she could do is give them some water laced with poison and be done with them. They killed your husband! They killed your people! In real life, all those prisoners would be dead.

2, Morgan. He lies to the kid when the kid asks who killed my brother. Morgan the most manic, mood swinging loser, Kill, no Kill, Kill. Best move, in reality Morg should tell the kid "Hey Henry, there's the dude who killed your brother, let's go take care of him right now". Forget this soap opera, moral building nonsense. The world has fallen apart. The viewer can watch this show in the comfort of their home and say, great, they're teaching this kid not to hate. But in the reality of the show, the world has ended, the kid must kill, or be killed. Look what happened to stupid CORAL. He went to help someone, and FOR SPORT started killing Walkers and got bit. Pretty stupid for someone who's survived for so long. Don't blame CORAL, blame the writers. Those prisoners are there only for the writes to build some more nonsense tension and episodes.

At least we didn't get any of Rick's nonsense actions and speeches. Best if Neeg kills Rick, and Rick Zombie kills Neeg and they both wonder off into the sunset.

Gabe, the coward priest, should also be dead, and Gabe zombie kills Eugene, and both wonder off into the sunset.

Carol is same as Morgan, Kill, no Kill, Kill. This is not an afternoon picnic. It's supposed to be a zombie apocalypse.

More observations, Gabe is playing with the pill bottles, suddenly Doc goes over and says, these are antibiotics. Isn't the Doc a Doc? Why does he need a blind man to point out the pill bottles?

Neeg asks Euge how Doc and Gabe got out. What we know of Euge, the coward, lying, spineless, pseudo intellectual is that in real life he would have broken down and pleaded for his life. And why didn't Neeg ask Gabe, the so called loser, man of god, "I cannot tell a lie", who helped him escape? They built this theme up throughout this episode, and it crumbled to absolutely nothing. Maybe if Euge told him and said he was sorry, Big Bad Neeg would have forgiven him.

People, if you view the actions of these characters from the comfort of your homes and consider that you may act the same way, I've got news for you. I doubt any of these characters would have lasted too long if they didn't kill and continue killing. All the rest of the up/down, kill, no kill is a plot soap opera device to continue dishing out more episodes. It's cheap and manipulative to the audience. An insult to our intelligence.

meh...

Warning: Spoilers
Overall good episode, but idk its not the best episode because for me it was too slow and the gabriel storyline was sorta annoying cuz they made such an emphasis on him leaving the sanctuary and then to just put him back there. Tara was also a little annoying because they need dwight and trying to kill him is just extra. Other than those two issues I liked it, especially when the alexandrians came to hilltop and enid crying was very good

Another lukewarm episode
xxxNomadicxxx12 March 2018
Another lukewarm episode, nothing great but not bad. Easily forgettable, no high points, pointless parts where they still dragging their feet to make it to the season finale. Nobody remembers a lukewarm day, that's what this episode is. An easily forgettable episode.

The Writers Don't Care Anymore
Al-Jaeger12 March 2018
Does this show want to get itself cancelled? Do the writers just not care?

Seriously though... Daryl needs to go. He's not important - no matter how much the writers try to make him out to be. The dirt rat just gets people killed or ruins plans. And yet they keep on giving him other characters storylines. What's the bet Daryl will get Carl's Lydia/Whispers storyline now..
