- A drawing of breasts is seen at one point.
- One episode two characters have sex, nothing is seen or heard, all you see is the door closing with them making out.
- One character often mentions sex references, and a hand job is talked about but not seen.
- A boy takes his friend to a strip club and nothing is seen but the outside which says "girls girls girls". Sam sits outside and sees a woman who shows him her boobs but we dont see anything, just from behind.
- Quite a few passionate kisses through the series

- Sam falls and cuts his arm on the bleachers. Blood is seen but not too graphic. The scene doesn't last long.

- A girl cuts a teddy bear's throat, only cotton this scene is a little awkward for kids as it could defy their innocence a little
- A teenage girl cuts a stuffed penguin's throat out of frustration.
Profanity

- Occasional use of language such as "shit," "damn," "hell," "dick," and "twat" respectively.
- In Season 3 the profanity picks up quite a bit with "shit" being used 3-5 times every episode.
- In season 1 there is one use of fuck and there is also a couple uses of it in season 3

- Alcohol is frequently depicted in the first season, as a major character is a bartender and numerous scenes occur in the bar.
- On a couple of occasions the bartender character is shown under the influence of drugs or using drug paraphernalia. Cigarette smoking is a plot point once in the first season.
- Zahid is shown smoking marijuana many different times throughout the series; especially while at work.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The protagonist has a meltdown in one episode. This scene may unnerve some people.

- One episode is about Sam trying to have sex, but ends with nothing
- Elsa cheating is a subplot.
Violence & Gore
- Paige cuts off the tip of her finger in the beginning of season 2 and blood is seen but not her actual finger it is later reveled that her finger gets sewed back on.
- Elsa gets a dart thrown in her arm (accidentally) while she is drunk and is walking across the dart board.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
- Elsa gets high in one episode, she is not seen taking drugs, only the aftermath.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- In the season one finale Sam has a meltdown as a result to his therapist rejecting him as a date. The scene might be scary for children.
- Elsa's affair while not frighting, could be distressing for some as she is a mother with children, and we see the effect this has on her husband and children. This may also be distressing for those who have been in similar situations in life.
