Ghost Hunting in the Strauss Mansion (2016)
*** (out of 4)
I've seen a lot of special features on various DVD and Blu-ray releases but this one here is one of the more interesting ones. The Strauss Mansion in New Jersey was used in the 1979 film DON'T GO IN THE HOUSE and Greg Caggiano takes us on a history lesson. The history lesson is the legend that the house is actually haunted and we hear the story of a man named Bob who is said to haunt the upper floors of the house. We also learn about a few secrets inside the basement as well. If you're a fan of DON'T GO IN THE HOUSE then there are a couple interesting featurettes on the new release. This one here is going to appeal to ghost hunting fans more than the actual film but it's certainly very entertaining in its own way. DON'T GO IN THE HOUSE... AGAIN takes us on a location tour of the house and this here is a nice counter piece to that.
