Exclusive: Pierce Brosnan (Fast Charlie), Samuel L. Jackson (Argylle), and Brandon Lessard (Murder at Yellowstone City) are in Montana shooting Unholy Trinity, a Western helmed by Richard Gray (Robert the Bruce), which has secured a SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement.
Described as a tale of revenge, dark secrets, and buried treasures, the film is set against the turbulent backdrop of 1870s Montana. It picks up in the moments before the execution of Isaac Broadway, as he gives his estranged son, Henry (Lessard), an impossible task: murder the man who framed him for a crime he didn’t commit. Intent on fulfilling his promise, Henry travels to the remote town of Trinity, where an unexpected turn of events traps him in town and leaves him caught between Gabriel Dove (Brosnan), the town’s upstanding new sheriff, and a mysterious figure named St. Christopher (Jackson).

Some strange events appear to be unfolding in Apex Legends right now, suggesting that Season 6 of the battle royale could be fast approaching.
Assuming Respawn Entertainment keeps to its reliable schedule, the successor to Fortune’s Favor should go live sometime in August, bringing with it yet another new playable character and adjustments to the existing meta. The injection of new blood alone is often enough to cause an upset to established strategies, of course, though many fans are hoping that a rework to some of Apex‘s existing – and most underplayed – combatants such as Crypto could be in the works. Mirage, for example, has benefitted massively from his own revamp in Season 5, so we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for more.
As for other potential new content, the conclusion to Apex‘s first-ever story-driven questline, Broken Ghost, heavily implies that players could be headed back into the stars...

Apex Legends is coming to Steam. Thanks to various leaks over the last few months, you probably already knew that.
What you couldn’t have known until recently, however, is that fans who download the battle royale on Valve’s platform will be able to get their mitts on a handful of exclusive cosmetic items. As revealed during a special stream yesterday, Respawn confirmed that, starting this fall, its popular multiplayer title will no longer be exclusive to EA’s Origin service on PC. This isn’t the news of a standalone client that many had perhaps hoped, but expanded accessibility options are always welcome to see, especially when there’s free stuff included to sweeten the deal.
In total, there are three Gun Charms to collect, all of which will be awarded simply by logging in to the Steam version of Apex as soon as it becomes available. Check...

As a means of providing players with more opportunities to learn about the universe in which Apex Legends is set, Respawn Entertainment introduced quests in Season 5. Broken Ghost is a multi-part series of short stories and objectives delivered over the last several weeks – each one further teasing where the overarching narrative is headed next – with the final piece of the puzzle, so to speak, having finally been delivered yesterday.
Following on from the recovery of simulacrum Ash’s head in a previous installment, Broken Ghost’s conclusion comes to a close by asking the player to reunite the brain box with its worn and battered body, an act that immediately results in Ash’s resurrection. While it’s certainly the most logical assumption, therefore, to suggest that Ash is intended to be Season 6’s new playable character, Respawn has pulled the wool over players’ eyes in the past, so we...

An often overlooked Apex Legends character is due to finally get the spotlight in a future season, it would seem.
Anita Williams, or Bangalore, as she’s more widely known, has flown under the radar ever since the battle royale’s launch last year in regards to story development, with the likes of Bloodhound, Wraith and Crypto largely getting the lion’s share of attention. It’s the latter of those three, in fact, that recently got their own Town Takeover event in Kings Canyon, but we’ve yet to see any such occasion for Apex’s so-called Professional Soldier.
Thanks to a recent exchange between player and creator over on Twitter, however, it looks like that’s all about to change in the weeks and months ahead. Replying to one fan’s query of whether Bangalore will receive more lore development anytime soon, Apex Legends writer Tom Casiello responded...

One big new gameplay feature added to Apex Legends in Season 5 is a multi-part PvE quest that tasks players with solving a mystery.
Split into multiple bite-sized chunks, Respawn plans to have “The Broken Ghost” story unfold over several weeks, with the newly-added first chapter requiring that players seek out the first piece of an enigmatic artefact. As a primarily teamwork-based gameplay experience, it goes without saying that’ll you have a much easier time completing objectives in a three-man squad, though if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, all of the following steps can be completed solo.
To ensure smooth-sailing once you drop into Kings Canyon, you’ll need to have the right team composition. Legends such as Wattson and/or Caustic are the perfect picks for this particular challenge, as you’ll be required to defend a specific area from a horde of enemies later on. Immediately upon starting the mission,...

"Scotland is clutched in the grip of a mighty hand... Now, we'll set her free!" Screen Media Films has just released another official Us trailer for the Scottish historical action drama Robert the Bruce, made by Australian director Richard Gray. Robert the Bruce is a hard-hitting historical epic covering the turbulent time after William Wallace's victories depicted in Braveheart. This originally premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival last year - which is when we featured the first UK trailer. Angus Macfadyen stars (playing the same role he played in Braveheart), joined by a big cast with Jared Harris, Zach McGowan, Daniel Portman, Emma Kenney, Melora Walters, Anna Hutchison, Talitha Eliana Bateman, Patrick Fugit, Gabriel Bateman, and Kevin McNally. The film also features original music from Scottish national treasure Lulu. This looks like it might be good, or might very boring, and they're definitely playing off of "Game of Thrones" being over.
