- Melanie tells her detective to stop the investigation. David sees through her when she asks him to evaluate three bottles of wine. She confesses him she needs the money to rent a restaurant for André. When Melanie hears from Hildegard that André told her on the phone he decided to stay in South Africa, she feels sad and confesses Alfons her theft. Adrian goes fishing on the birthday of his brother William to his honor. Desirée doesn't want to go with him. Adrian finds Clara at the lake side; she has the same idea and they fish together. Clara still has the feeling that William lives and, although Adrian has lost hope, she tries to reach him by phone again. William blames his mother Susan when he hears Clara speaking on the voice mail; why did she lie to him that dad and Adrian are dead? Susan tells him that father is also a hire murderer. William calls back. Friedrich asks Klaus why he is neglecting his work in the hotel kitchen. He is surprised when Klaus tells him about Beatrice's blackmail. Friedrich makes Beatrice clear he can't trust her because she lied to him again. Werner and Charlotte unknowingly spoil the surprise when Tina tries to seduce Oskar.—B. Dijkhoff
