- Jiya: Flynn went to September 25, 1780.
- Lucy Preston: Let me guess. Just north of Manhattan.
- Jiya: How'd you know?
- Lucy Preston: Oh, this is bad. This is really, really bad.
- Denise Christopher: What would Flynn want in New York City in the middle of the Revolutionary War?
- Lucy Preston: It's not New York City; it's West Point.
- Rufus Carlin: The military academy?
- Lucy Preston: In 1780, West Point was just a fort, but Washington thought whoever had control over it would win the war.
- Rufus Carlin: So what happened on September 25?
- Lucy Preston: Well, Washington was over at Benedict Arnold's house for breakfast when he learned that Arnold was plotting to give West Point to the British. Arnold fled before Washington got there.
- Wyatt Logan: Benedict Arnold, huh? The guy whose name basically means "total jerkoff".
- Lucy Preston: This is it. This is Benedict Arnold's house.
- Wyatt Logan: Nice digs.
- Lucy Preston: Arnold had expensive tastes. He one time spend £1,000, which would be, like, $80,000 today, on one bottle of wine.
- Wyatt Logan: What? Who does that?
- Rufus Carlin: A grade "A" douche nozzle.
- Rufus Carlin: "Your Excellency"?
- Lucy Preston: That's what they called him. He won't be president for ten more years. I know I should be getting used to all of this by now, but this one...
- Wyatt Logan: What? That it's George Washington or that he might want to kill us?
- Lucy Preston: Both. Maybe. I think both.
- [a door behind them opens, and Wyatt raises his gun as Flynn enters]
- Garcia Flynn: [raising his own] Easy. Easy. I got a man in the next room. If shots go off in here, he shoots Washington.
- Wyatt Logan: You're bluffing
- Garcia Flynn: You're talking to the man who shot Lincoln. You really want to take that risk?
